Floating Discs are an amazing unit that have several abilities. It's ability to drain power though is so powerful that it's easiest one of the most overpowered stuff in the game!

I have always thought that they should nerf their energy theft, instead of taking it all away, I took away what that generator gives

in mental omega, its only that specific power plant that is inactive, which kinda solves the problem really

@@stylesrj yes but at the same time, they kinda fine tuned legacy units of Red alert 2. even mirage tank is severely down graded

Engine limitations in the early games prevents pad aircraft from targeting each other.

I think the outro can act like after the floating Disc locked down the power plant, then the video ends with a black screen and no sound suddenly.

But anty-air infantry nearby and discs cant do anything even if they are elite. How about chaos drone on ground disc?

I wonder if a fair nerf of the Floating Disc would be that it can only drain the power of the power plant it hovers over, much like base defences? Because it is rather funny how if you have any exposed power plant in the grid, a Disc can take out all of the power. Would that make Yuri be a lot less OP or would he still be OP because of everything else and the Floating Disc is a gimmick to pro players?

Telling that it got split into two different units in a RA2/Tiberian Sun crossover mod, AND don't get me started on Mental Omega and Epsilon compensating with Irkallas and so on. 0:29: Thank the Allied Longbow from RA1 for revolutionizing this idea. 1:32: But do they get promoted a la Generals' Black Lotus though? 4:41: What's this, the MCU? Say, tg, about your plans to try out Age of Empires I: will it still be on the original/Definitive Edition release or the AoE II Return to Rome experience?

Even in Single Player OP enemy faction standards I would still nerf power siphoning ability. I say one Disc should take amount of 2 power plants worth of power or one super power plant. It still hurts, but one Disc won't cripple you because of base crawling and such.

Aaaand this is why Floating Disc is beeter than Invader in Mental Omega (although the later one is cheaper). By the way, you should consider doing a video about the most OP units in the game, like Tanya's explosives against buildings, Garrisoned Initiates, Prism Tank, Chrono Commando, Sammy Stallion (Or Rambo) destroying buildings, Elite Aegis... what would you think?

Good job, well, if take out floating disk from Yuri, then Yuri has no too many way can against air units. Maybe can try some Red Alert Remastered videos, like chrono sphere demo truck, or M.A.D. Tank, or use walls block AI's base with flamethrower infantry. Sometimes if you see Soviet/Ukraine AI's base stuck, and you see infantry stuck in barrack, you can try to only kill that infantry, then you'll get some surprise. Or can try 8-Bit series if have time, 9-Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far early accessing now, so far I'm trying to against Insane AI everyday.

You forgot to show that you can stack them together completely overlapping eachother. So when you see one disk flying towards you, i could actually be 100.
