Those comments at the beginning are pretty sad. I wouldn't judge someone's skill by just watching some missions, since there is no competitive play required. Shame that some people have zero empathy.
I understand the difference between Blind Playthrough and a planned one. What I like in Blind Playthroughs is to see how each player tackles the unknown and how it compares to my preferred playstyle. It gives me new ideas.

It's custom campaigns like this that make the game even more fun and fresh, and seeing a veteran Red Alert player like yourself doing a casual-through is by far the most entertaining content I get to see you upload, than those players who just work to steamroll the AI showing how 'pro' they are. It's fun to take arrows to the knee and see how you adapt. Keep this up, friend! Your playthroughs are giving me the itch to reinstall the game, and I'm in my early 30's!

Do you know what is fun? That people say that you are bad at playing, and the difficult thing about this campaign is that the AI does things that it does not do in other campaigns (Allied and Soviet), such as: Not having a construction limit, knowing what to attack and what to attack with, use things they normally don't do (Like iron curtain + drone) and so on.
Just dont pay attention to those jackass bud, ur ra2 videos r the best when it comes to entertainment. I had fun watching them as well. If they hate on u, they should just leave, iff they continue to hate on you, just dont give a crap since u still benefit from their watching the videos so that they can criticise anyway dudde
i dont see how the people who commented that you cant play even matter. i wanna see them upload a video of the edited harder versions you've been playing, so we can see how pro they are. Sigh, let me just say this to those people who posted unsavoury comments at the intro: Instead of complaining about how TG approached this mission, why don't you lots do your own version of this playthrough and post the result here? People don't understand that the AI in campaigns are usually weak, even in custom campagins. So new players will enjoy too, no match for veteran players
When I first played this mission, I tried turtling up, Sim City-ing my base, etc. then the Allies started capturing Amplifiers, so I built some Engineers to recapture the base... It was a good idea in theory but when the base fell under the control of the Allies, the Engineers were unable to recapture the buildings (as in the icon said the building couldn't be captured), then a Psychic Tower took control of a Virus and took out the Engineers and Yuri Prime, causing mission failure. So I went back a save where I was halfway through the Sim City, grabbed my forces and went on the offensive, using Yuri to capture and sell the enemy base. The Allies were too busy trying to fend off my forces to do any capturing of Amplifiers and I could slowly base creep my defences. Went much better :) Also, I don't mind how you play the game. I play pretty badly too as I like to do the aforementioned Sim City of my base :D Plus it lets me know that casual players like me can do the mission just fine :)
Holy crap, you were playing a dangerous game on the edge there... the Allies had two of the Amplifiers under their control and I didn't see any warnings about it... when I did the mission the game would warn me every time the Allies had one and it wasn't because I was building superweapons; I had none at the time. I think they start capturing the Amps after about five or ten minutes unless you interrupt by attacking the Allied base.
@@tg.Sacred Yeah, you probably played very aggressive and quickly while I think I tried starting with the Genetic Mutator so I could build a second source of income before making my assault on the Allies...

Oh, all the haters can f all the way off........ First of all, this is a CAMPAIGN. This is not COMPETITIVE gaming. Second of all, who are you to judge what a content creator / streamer is uploading?? I am a starting content creator / streamer myself. Do you have any idea how much effort goes into recording, preparing the content, checking for possible copyright issues, uploading and probably a thousand other tasks I can't think of off the top of my head right now but you still do to be successful at this?? I have had just a taste, and I can only imagine what it becomes with time and experience!!! I dare you to make one, JUST ONE, intro or outro in the style with which tg does them - let's see how you can do it better!!! Third, if you don't like what you see, why are you wasting your time watching it in the first place??? Agree with your first method of "trial and error" mood, it's always go to try out and find out where the A.I gonna hit and strike. But it's cringle to see in the verge of losing...
Maybe do two videos of the same mission, one where it’s a long play showing off everything you can do and the second video would just be you being a badass on the mission
Back in the days, I always love dragging the game for as long as possible. Capturing every factions, build everything available, and mass up a fck ton of units before crushing the AI. So, the longer your videos, the better entertainment for me :D It's been years I haven't played RA2, and I only have tried Mental Omega before(which I hate, too much changes it ruins the game for me). I'll have to try this mod, looks fun, balanced well, and with good storyline. Lastly, what the heck with that unbelievable amount of money stolen with a single spy?!
Hey I appreciate your long play videos. I always look forward to them. Honestly though, the last mission did feel frustrating. I think that feeling was amplified because I had an assignment to do. I think there are some people who prefer shorter videos and some people who prefer longer ones depending on their situation. I think a possible solution for the two different audience groups would be one video for a long play and one where you demonstrate your in depth knowledge of the game. But I think you should post what you feel most comfortable with. Some people prefer to make a business out of RU-vid and some prefer to enjoy making videos. Keep up the good work nonetheless

Thats the most annoying part. I was playing and didn’t know about it. Without any notice the AI take control all of your structures... Couldn’t do anything about it. And it happened multiple times with me.
@@3arooshy465 no engineers.. If you remember the soviet campaign missions in ra2, the way you capture all alied forces after deploying beacon. In this mission the AI can capture all of your structures just like that. And all means in a blink you will hear beacon deployed and notice nothing is yours anymore not even miner.. They cant control the trained troops though. Bt what can u do with just few troops😑😑😑

As someone who isn’t very good, something I started to do is follow the cursor whenever I have a “omg it’s so obvious” armchair general moment, because then it’s easy to realize how easy it is to miss something that’s “obvious” on video

There is no option for me to change the game speed while playing campaigns. I’m not sure whether this is due to the version I’m playing. I’m playing the one bought from Origin and the version number is 1.01.

IMO, there's no necessary to show so angry in this whole video. Hey, we sub, press like and watch your gameplays so that we give comments, it's common, doesn't we? And this is a mod which you re-play again, so people used to tend to build high standard on how your gaming acting. this channel doesn't have millions of subscribers, just like the game doesn't have many millions of fans. The game is old and many who play it are in their 30s. This guy has been making content for a long time for fun and enjoyment. He doesn't owe us anything and I'm glad I found this channel a few years ago. I think that the opinion of his small family means a lot to him, otherwise he would not take your criticism so close to his heart

Man, don't pay any attention to what losers say. You create high-quality and unique content - you managed to make an entertaining show out of longplay, and this kind of content makes you stand out. If you listen to these losers and trolls, who represent about 0.01% of your audience, your channel will turn into yet another speedrun experience, one of hundreds. Block out trolls, if they really don't like content, they just find another channel - these snout-eating bastards are simply looking for attention. Just keep doing good work as you always do, we, your audience, is always thankful.
I can see both sides of the argument, so I’ll just say this: it was quite satisfying to see you squeeze every drop of effectiveness out of your faction to steamroll your opponents. There should be some give & take with how “cheesy” one plays; not only make it entertaining for us, but also not make it so painful for yourself, at least IMO #11 looked quite painful/deeply annoying to the point of not quite being fun for you to play. All in all, wonderful stuff! 🫡
