the water looks so amazing... I want to dive in it. Also, the lighting effects are so impressive. Clearly they put the effort to make water relevant in this game. I love it.
I love how they did this demo. The way they explain mechanics but try to do some immersive role playing. E.g "there are reports of allied activity" or "we are to deploy an expeditionary force..."
that 960m is a mobile gpu right? make sure you've got a profile specifically for this game that uses the GPU in your laptop. Oh wait a second, you're Ray Mak. Hi! Long time subscriber here! go on your nvidia control panel - 3d settings - program settings and select the Ra3 executable. on the Graphics processor tab make sure you've selected the "High performance" option.
At that time I used an Asus hd 7770 to run this game at ultra setting but it's still lock at 30fps if you turn it more than that the Ai will freak out and the game engine will act weirdly to the point of crashing sometime
Alwin Van Schaik no, so am i. that's one of those immortal games that stay just as good no matter how old they are. red alert 2 yuri's revenge is the best rts game ever made for me :)
Can we stop all the red Alert 3 hate? Red alert 3 is a memorable game, the only real issue that I have with it is the lack of co-op because gamespy went belly up and EA hasn't made a fix for it.
@@brazilpaes Did you even play the game before leaving a comment? Its incredibly fun, wacky, and is a great thing to cheer you up if you're bored or have a sad day. Sadly, people like you. Whose knowledge of the recent C&C games is: "Lol new C&C Bad old C&C gud" Think they're some kind of professional game Reviewer. And will fight tooth and nail to prove that their opinions are right.
The only big reason I can think of why RA3 gets hate is because "Ohh ohh RA2 is way better so RA3 sucks" The reason why RA2 is considered better is because it was a revolutionary game back then. Ra3 is not, unless maybe about the water graphics.
Lets clear this -Red Alert 3 is a good game -The gameplay is not a classic C&C gameplay, we can talk later if that makes it a bad C&C -Is a competitive game, planed to defeat Starcraft 2. It failed but still a good competitive game -Red Alert 3 needs online mode, if EA would keep it, it would be a better sell. But we have CnC Net for that now -The graphics are simply beatifull
Holy shit. I _loved_ Red Alert 2. I had no idea this existed till I saw it on sale on Steam. Downloading it now, it's gonna be hella fun to play, can't wait...
+mohammad khorzom Now you can download RA2 Full Version for free!!! 【www.origin.com/en-ie/store/buy/c-c-the-ultimate-collection/pc-download/base-game/standard-edition】
Red Alert 3 = Command and Conquer 3 wearing Red Alert 2's skin in a flimsy disguise, except Yuri and his army has been replaced by "psionic" Japanese schoolgirls, AND mechas (just in case they hadn't made the Empire stereotypically Japanese enough). Aside from the Soviet campaign videos, soulless garbage that feels like a rehash of a totally different universe(C&C 3) for reasons I can't quite pinpoint.
As a fan of the imperial faction, I'd like to argue in their defense, with one small point- *They're supposed to be a bit silly.* And that's a good thing sometimes! I've seen plenty of good concepts get run into the ground because the devs took themselves and the game too seriously and the resulting game just became boring.
red alert 3 is the most best C&C game. i like it because it have: good graphics, you can destroy landscape and you can place a construction first and then build it. its just a nice game!! :D
beacuse of the market. nowadays nobody wants to think, they prefer to just shoot. People are brainless and we deserve to be destroyed by ourselves. It's our nature to be stupid.
Hearing an EA executive say things like capitalist pigs is hilarious. Storyline just doesn't seem as nice. At this point Tanyas grandkids should be fighting in the war. I would have appreciated some freshness in the series if they were going to continue it. The fact that most things are amphibious is just silly. Not nearly as awful as cnc4 though. Glad I ducked out after cnc3. I'll always enjoy the Westwood days.
I couldn't agree more Red Alert 3 just made the red alert gaming experience complicated. The graphics are nice yes. but they have lost the thing we love about red alert 2. the fast building of war infrastructure. I was about to make a serious decision of buying that game. I don't waste my money to no impressive game. RA2 and RA Yuri's revenge's still rock. Return the game franchise to Westwood EA games.
I really don't know why alot pf people hate this game.If you ask me RA2 is nothing compared to RA3.Ra3 is way better, and adds a more strategic atmosphere, you have to work this head of yours in order play this game. So to all haters: please stop talking shit about RA3. EA did a great job on it( correct me if i'm wrong).
+Nesquick Guy Most RTS are in the same train... Sad... I am RTS fan but somehow I missed RA and I discovered it before 2 years maybe. Fantastic game! Other old RTS are also great, RON for example, I am still playing it. But the new one... The genre is ruined.
InStars Are you kidding? RA1 graphic was terrible, despite the plot is great.Buildings and units were cubic.Almost like minecraft.RA2 made a big step. And the buildings and units look much realistic than both RA1 and RA3.
+Nesquick Guy dude, RA2 was cartoonish too ... corny acting and dialogue, the gameplay looked cartoony and goofy but fun (you can use attack dolphins as a unit!!!! don't you think that is goofy, even though it sounds cool?) yes, EA ruined the series, but i can only say that for RA4. RE3 added some new mechanics, while a little unbalanced, but still fun and still stayed loyal to the charm and mechanics that C &C was done. in RA4 (which is also called C&C tiberian Twilight) they made the mechanics completely brand new from the ground up that really did not work very well and felt weird (i am one who usually likes brand new stuff but this time felt completely out of place, plus some units were way too unbalanced)
BritanniaGamer I agree, if a strategy game looks so catoonish that doesn't very well make it a bad game (civ 6 doesn't look that realistic imo)...the series actually all cortoonish looking. Nostalgia makes everything worse to some extent, and while I was there when RA2 came out, I really think this one beats it by miles.
