RED ALERT SIMMERS: THE WEDDING TRAILER IS OUT 

The real question remains: will wedding guests actually sit down for the entire ceremony or will they get up to randomly do push-ups? The world would like to know.

I LOVE THIS PACK but my biggest concern is the bugs😭 I can already see my sims dad cancelling walking my sim down the aisle to go to the toilet 🙃 EDIT : yup, this is what I was afraid of, the pack is completely broken.

The fact that they included the ability to have traditional weddings outside of western/European ones is so so exciting

I can imagine Kayla getting Stanley married in his hot dog suit with the cowplant cake with the eyeball ring. Dream wedding right there.

Kayla you should recreate famous sims weddings, the goths, the pancakes etc.

Having the two single sims at the wedding look at each other and have hearts in their thought bubbles reminds me of the 'attractive sim nearby' moodlet that you could get in the Sims 3. That could be another cute feature if they've added it to the Sims 4

Okay, but... Attraction? Crushes? Hidden feelings? I'd love to have Sims with feelings that aren't mutual, like the sims in the trailer. I want my sim to be invited to their crush's wedding and be sad about it cuz the crush has no idea they have feelings for them! Also: invites? Wedding invites? Will I get invited to weddings?!

Sim Gurus really said we need to give Kayla a cowplant wedding cake so she'll leave us alone.

I really hope that your needs go down slower during events if they're going to run longer, that should be an update or something.

I got so tired of the weddings that I just make my sims elope in whatever they're wearing and wherever they are. This makes me want to go in depth with weddings again 😭

I LOVE the interracial/cultural wedding between the ex-groom and the bridesmaid at the end of the trailer!!! As an Indian I love seeing my culture represented like this :)

based on the sims’ names in the trailer (Dominique and Camille), i’m guessing the world might be French inspired, probably Southern France because of the beach and architecture! looking forward to it, and perfect for a romance pack!

I feel like the “wants and nots” is gonna be like the house decorator job when the client tells you their likes and dislikes.

omg i just realized that the sims team was dropping hints about this pack during the last game update with the traditional korean hanboks!!! if you look closely in the asian themed wedding, the guy is wearing a chinese hanfu or a vietnamese ao dai while she's wearing an indian dress.

I love the whole story line. I think the ex got married to the south Asian sim and that’s the photo we saw! Of the two wives at their wedding (so cute, love it!) I also think the cake decorator is the wife. She made that fabulous cake for her vowel renewal so maybe new skill? Like gourmet cooking

As a wedding photographer IRL, this pack is my literal DREAM. I am SO goddamn excited to see how pretty everything is and see what kinda photos and screenshots I can take :3 Also am I going to be making me and my boyfriend's sim selves get married and plan our dream wedding the second I have this pack? Yes. Yes I am.

Kayla’s gonna have cow plants on her and Dan’s real wedding cake now and I fully support it.

I was very glad to see them use “Bach Parties” and “Sim of Honor” and “flower pal” since they are working on a pronoun/game text update. A lot of wedding language is very inherently gendered and it’s good to see them being conscious of that throughout new pack development and not having to go back and fix this in an update too.

I guess the perk of kits is they have more time to work on expansions and pack and they’ll hopefully be less buggy on release and more in depth. This one looks fun.

This almost made me cry, I love how the EA team is getting more involved and so supportive ❤ it just makes me so happy. I live how they switched and and then both of the feminine ones got together it was just so cute. I can't wait for this pack just everything, the slow dancing, all sims sitting down, cake, dress choosing, new world just everything!! Love you Lilsimsie and Sims4 EA!!❤❤

it reminded me SO MUCH of the wedding part of The Sims 3 Generations aka best expansion pack ever so... LET'S GO SIMS TEAM!!

It looks amazing. My concern is that even now, sims are like starving and peeing and whining at even short weddings. Maybe there’s a slower needs decay here?

If it is a vacation world, there’s a really good mod that lets you live in all the vacation worlds. I love letting my sims live in selvadorada! It doesn’t conflict with much of anything if at all it’s definitely an amazing mod. The creators name is Zebru

other than the wedding stuff, i'm so so so hype for new formalwear options, i'm always struggling dressing my sims up for formal events, everything is so shiny and doesn't mesh well with the newer CAS items - these clothes are beautiful!

I've been a family-centered player for all my time playing the Sims and I'm so excited for this pack! The slow dancing, the flower pal, the ringbearer, all of it! I think Tartosa is going to be a residential world because I had a feeling when they said "stay in Tartosa", they meant building a life there. It looks beautiful!

This is soooo good!!!!! I haven't been this excited since Realm of Magic was announced! Side note, If they ever give us a baby update I hope they use these two ladies and their friends to show it off!!

I’m so excited for this pack, I can’t wait the 9 days either, With this one being so exciting, who knows what “Extra to the max” is all about!! But one thing that’s always bugged me about base game, is how when I do legacy families and my sims get married they don’t acknowledge their in-laws as in-laws or get added to that sims family tree. So I wonder is that going to be included as well? 🤔

My first thought about "stay in Tortosa" was that, finally, they weren't making a destination world. But it seems like they're specifically talking about staying in Tortosa for the honeymoon (or any other world with a rental lot). There should be no destination worlds. "Rental" should be a trait that can be applied to any residential lot (including haunted houses, tiny houses, and apartments). Just IMO, of course.

The world looks so goooood and I'm excited for more lore hehe. The trailer from the music to the story is hilarious I love it

It's interesting that the bride from the wedding is older at the start and decorating a cake. Do you think there will be any new careers with this pack, like Wedding Planner or Cake Decorator or Wedding Photographer? If we are getting new songs for slow dancing, I do hope they have a REAL full-Simlish cover of "At Last". I'm impressed about the seeming detail given to different cultures in this pack. I only hosted one traditional Chinese wedding during my catering director years but they seem to hit those nails pretty solidly. This looks great...and yes, I might've teared up unexpectedly at the trailer, m'self. :D

You currently cannot get married in vacation worlds, I found this out the hard way after setting up a whole lot in Selvadora. So Tartosa is most likely a residential world with a rental lot for honeymoons In the screenshot with the sims standing at the reception, one looks unhappy. Can you object to a wedding???? In the engagement party it looked like the OG bride asked her friend for approval/an opinion on her choice in fiance and the friend approved. Is this similar to asking a hand in marriage? Can they not give a blessing and get a bad sentiment/lose relationship?? I want family drama and consequences!!!

It would be really cool if they add a Wdding Planner career. Maybe as an option under the interior designer career or something along those lines.

In the start, when she is decorating the cake, you can see through the window, that she is in Tartosa!! It gives me hope that it's a live-in world!!!

When I first saw the teaser for this I was like: „Great- another kit” I thought it was just gonna add maybe some arches, fancy chairs a couple new dresses and suits but then I finally watched the trailer and I was like: „OHHH It’s a game pack-“ and I didn’t think it would completely override the weddings in the sims 4 (at least that’s what I understood from the trailer-) I rlly hope that this one is a good one, especially since we haven’t had any other packs except kits since Cottage Living. Making the sims 4 weddings not chaotic would be revolutinary lol- It looks very good in the trailer, so I’m getting my hopes up- even tho I probs shouldn’t, but let’s be positive

this pack coming out soon lines up perfectly with where im at in the NSB challenge, my blue sim is gonna get married soon, and the whole highschool sweetheart thing makes the wedding even cuter.

It looks like the lines of flower petals on either side of the aisle ARE the aisle. Like, basically a "rug" that's fully transparent except for the flower petals on the edges, and wherever you place it designates where the aisle is. It's really cute, but it's also got me wondering if there are multiple options if you don't want flowers up the wazoo.

It would be SO cool, if there was a new career as a baker! A freelance one, where simmers could put in orders.

I love this!!! I currently never do wedding ceremonies because they don’t feel very organized or special to me, so I always have my sims elope immediately. I’m DEFINITELY getting this pack when it drops!! It’s so detailed, so well-planned, so personal, I’m obsessed already!

Maybe for the wedding dress shopping you'll go in to cas but instead of it just being your formal outfit it's its own thing that will automatically be what you wear on the day
