Very nicely explained. I have a lot of yarn left over from a star blanket. I think I may use this pattern and continue expanding it to the size of a throw blanket. I like how it doesn't have large holes throughout the design like my other star blanket does.
I just wanna say thank you for explaining this so well. Because i bought a star ouff pattern one etsy and struggled on figuring out how to begin it. Your ability to pace this and eloquently describe what to do so that even a beginner can do it made my stress go away.
Kinda confusing. I've been crocheting for one year and i watched many videos and everytime i tried smt for the first time it turned out great but while watching this one i had to retry 4 or 5 times and smt wasn't adding up. I got confused while trying to follow your steps. Good job to those who managed to understand tho
I've been crocheting for over a year now and I usually understand tutorials quite easily but I'm lost. I've restarted like four times now and even if I follow you step by step I end up without enough space to finish row 5, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, it's confusing to not be able to see what stitches you're crocheting in. Does anyone know what could I be doing wrong?
@@sydat03 had a similar issue and think i figured it out! that stitch where you’re meant to have 5 loops on your hook is meant to go through the following two loops, not just all in one. that was my mistake at least, hope it helps!
Just you know the size of A 6mm hook would be a J hook in US . (or 10. ) But mostly people use the Alphabetical system. Weird but due to the fact that the US never went metric when the rest of planet Earth did.
Hello, I am on row 15 because I’m making a big pillow, my starting point has shifted from when you stopped at row 7, and up. I’ve been turning but I’m using three colors instead of two. Can anyone explain why my starting point is shifting?
