In this video I will share with you how I make these amigurumi star pillows!
Supplies needed: 6.5mm crochet hook, blanket yarn, scissors, yarn needle, 5 stitch makers, fiber fil stuffing

written (for later lol): *CENTER PIECES* sc 8 into magic circle inc 8 [1sc, 1inc] 8 times [1sc, 1inc, 1sc] 8 times [3sc, 1inc] 8 times [2sc, 1inc, 2sc] 8 times [5sc, 1inc] 8 times [3sc, inc, 3sc] 8 times [7sc, 1inc] 8 times [4sc, 1inc, 4sc] 8 times 80 stitches around, tie off repeat all of this for 2nd center piece, don’t tie off the 2nd one though SECTION INTO 5 SECTORS, 16 STITCHES EACH *STAR TIPS* 16 sc on center piece, 16 sc on other sc in each stitch (32) [14sc, 1dec] 2 times [4sc, 1dec, 4sc] 3 times [7sc, 1dec] 3 times [3sc, 1 dec, 3 sc] 3 times [5sc, 1dec] 3 times [2sc, 1dec, 2sc] 3 times [3sc, 1dec] 3 times [1sc, 1dec, 1sc] 3 times [1sc, 1dec] 3 times 3 dec repeat for all tips

I had bought this exact yarn and colour before finding your video. The star turned out great. My tension was looser than yours so it looks a lil chonkers lol. In the end I still had enough leftover yarn to sew the holes closed. So satisfying that I basically used all the yarn. Not to mention the pattern is pretty great too! The centre is round and not hexagonal. My only issue is the music was a bit too distracting so I'd watch a bit to follow along and pause to go by the written pattern on screen.

I’m using 4 ply yarn. Easier for me to see. For the center, if I wanted to make it bigger I can just add rows of sc, correct? Thank you!!

The stitch count is wrong for row 4. It turns out to be 36 stitches, but it's suposed to be 32 somehow? I'm still trying to figure out a new way to get the correct stitch count. lol 😅
