I dare say, as a Brit having watched the Red Arrows numerous times all through my life, we risk taking them for granted. We’re used to how good they are! But hearing other people’s comments from other countries certainly makes you proud to be British and realise just how good our Red Arrows actually are! They are always the highlight of any air show or state fly past!
There the Best in the World and it's thee only thing we've got Left that's BRITISH and now the friggin wokes are trying too get Rid of the colour smoke DICKHEADS
I love the Red Arrows thay are highly popular in the UK at any air show and they are highly skilled pilots and thay do alot of training and practice to do these shows
Took my grandson to the show saturday, and he was verry impressed with the red arrows, so was I. Kuddos to all our friends and allies across the big pond.. Would love to see them again. Brittain must be real proud, as are we of our airmen..
Louis Vega, That is what I love about the American's, your appreciation of some of the things we in the UK do. Hope you guy's realise we appreciate you as well.
Well, these guys saw off not only the Germans, but also those pesky Argentines, despite being heavily outnumbered, no Harriers were lost during the Falklands war due to enemy fire, but many Argentine planes were shot down.
@@eyeofthetiger6002 these guys didn't see off the Gerri. My Grandad did as a combat hurricane fighter in the 2nd war. No similarity with the hawk and the Mk 1 hurricane. These guys are great fighter pilots and experienced in modern warfare. Though to give them the credit to win WW2 is insulting them and my grandfather's squadron.
was on holiday in Paignton (devon) a few years ago the red arrows were doing a display in torquay , I was dragging my piss pot from my caravan when one of them came over the site so low he gave me the thumbs up when passing over classic, lol.
Living in Lincolnshire we often see the red arrows practice their fantastic skills.. Soo privileged.. Also a week before our mum sadly passed away 2015, we took her to Wales for a short break, not realising at the time she would die within a week, but, the Red Arrows were there when we arrived, fantastic display, looking back I felt that they were honouring her life. Giving her a good send of.. And only last week when out walking the Red Arrows were practicing, I was thinking of mum, then all of a sudden they formed a love heart with cupid arrow.. To me that was a sign.. Same day my sister Sarah found a handbag that belongs to mum and there pinned to her bag was a Red Arrows badge.. Thank you Red Arrows. Xx
@@DudeOfCoolness45 Hi there. I'm English and watch the Red Arrows most years here in the UK. If you've never filmed the Red Arrows before, I'll tell you now, it's really difficult. THe first half of the show is whole ship formations and pretty easy. However, the second half of their shows are much more active, with so much happening left, right, and centre. It's very hard to know where to focus your attention unless you're familiar with their routines. Kudos to him for getting most of the action. Shame he missed most of the vertical break but I was fairly impressed with his effort. Happy 2020!
I love how unenthusiastic they were at the start soon as they saw what the red arrows could do they were so surprised and now they think the blue angels are beginners compared to the reds.
What's wonderful about it? Seriously, tell me....what's wonderful? Is it wonderful that the British tax payer pays for this nonsense. It it OK that millions is spent on lumps of metal being flown around a foreign country when we have children in poverty, children who don't eat a decent meal every day and when the poor, who number in the millions, suffer due to the austerity measures of a right wing government who pretend they're having to pay back the debts incurred to rescue the folly of rich bankers. So go on, tell me whats wonderful.
The iconic Red Arrows are a national treasure and do wonderful work cementing the US/UK special bond. Hats off to you all and keep up the great work and amazing skills.
I was having a garden party for my daughters first birthday, bbq, beers and bouncy castle, the red arrows were on their way back from an air show and flying low and they must of seen the hoardes of people in my back garden and did the red white and blue smoke as they passed over the top of us 😁😁 best thing ever 🙌🏼🙌🏼 obviously I said I booked them 😁😁
If you're ever in Lincoln, England, look up. Since it's the closest major city to their home base at RAF Scampton, it's their go-to training location, so sometimes, Lincoln just gets a random, unplanned Red Arrows display :)
I was here for this! Absolutely loved the entire performance. Seeing it in person is just an experience that cannot be fully felt from a video! So much respect for our allies and how amazing our air capabilities have come since first taking flight
Great bit of filming and thank you for sharing, we love our reds and looks like you do too! They train near where I live at RAF Valley on Anglesey North Wales, its simulator training, RAF Valley housed many many American Bomber Crews in WW2 as they arrived to start their missions "we will remember them"
It's looks like a piece of England. Great video! You've put in a lot of work here. I would like to add...The formation taxi is the hardest manoeuvre. 😁 Thanks for sharing this 👍
Also, @flip inheck If you look at the video I linked below, you can see that the engines on Concorde were close enough together that it only leaves 2 contrails, not four. I suspect the using four smoke trails in the Red Arrows' display was more for show than realism. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HSNc8_Th41c.html
When the greatest military aerobatics team of the UK comes to the USA they'll always be treated with tremendous respect! I've often been called a loyalist for the great respect I have for the UK, but what can I say our troops love serving alongside their British counterparts and they are our closest ally and friend, to add to that their tribute to the 50th anniversary of one of our country's greatest moments in history shows just how respected our friendship is to the British military and to all the the people of England!
@Georgian Giant მსოფლიო ჩემპიონი 1) you clearly misread the comment, he said "the best aerobatics team in the UK" NOT the world, you're the idiot. And if you're really bringing up dental care (which is completely irrelevant), the UK ranks 5th in the world for dental hygiene and the US ranks 7th. Please, get your facts straight.
Great show nicely filmed. There will always be a special connection between Britain and America so it's wonderful that the Arrows can perform for our friends in the USA. Thank you for posting and best wishes.
The R.A.F. and the U.S.A.F. are the greatest air forces in the world and I am quite sure the U.S.A. is as proud to serve alongside us as we are to serve alongside them...
@Liam Leggitt why are you trying to cause division where there is only love? Plus they would smash us because of numbers money and resources. but there our closest ally so don't worry about it
so much respect in the comments, Love you guys and I am so proud of our Red arrows. I've seen them on many occasions and they always bring a lump to my throat. so Glad they put on a good show for our American brothers and sisters
Got the pleasure of seeing them in FOEY in Cornwall in the UK quite amazing as the village is set in a coastal ravine and they flew extremely low.... we were sat on the high hills above..... kids and adults alike enjoyed it a lot.
This Air Show is so Awesome 👏🏽 and the Red, White and Blue Smoke! It’s Freakin’ Incredible! I watched a full Air Show when I was at a close Air Force Base over 30 years ago when I attended a good friends RTOC Program Ceremony. Thanks for sharing this. 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏽🤔❤️🕊
One more thing.... imagine what these guys can do in their fighter jets!!! Thank you men and women of our British armed forces... for your service and protecting us and those that need protecting by us. With honour. To all who have served continue to serve and our fallen heroes.
I don't think the American crowd knew what to expect, and on top of the live feed PA of the pilots comms, which i don't think the US pilots do much, I think we paid dues and homage to the USA and I hope they enjoyed it
@@TM-bn8pv British military in general is the best trained in the world. We train the US and Israeli special forces! Know a few ex US Special Forces who admit they're not even capable of being as good as ours. One would suspect the RAF is the same!
I was at RIAT when they had the Italian Frecci Tricolori and the US Thunderbirds on the bill with the Red Arrows and it was fair to say the Red Arrows just made them all look ordinary. Incredible display.
The way the bossman Red 1 calls them to break away at the end... perfection and skills. Proud to be English.. well done boys. Thanks America for making our boys welcome.. we love them.
They do it like that so that they can get the timing exactly right. A few milliseconds off can spell disaster, but doing it that way, they can tell exactly when the instruction is going to come, and be prepared for it.
Well done, superb video! Thank you for showing start to absolute finish. Encore meastro, here goes the replay click. Absolutely superb thank you for sharing with us.
Thank You for a GREAT AIR SHOW ! GO USA ! WE LOVE OUR PILOTS ❤❤❤❤❤❤BE SAFE UP THERE❤❤❤❤❤❤from the AV,CA. JAN. N. LAURELXXOO,LOVE TO. OUR. (“President j TRUMP. !”
Seeing the arrows is a real treat at any airshow (ive seen them 4 times throughout the years and they usually always steal the show ) these guys are truly spectacular
...Very impressive...a different kind of show than the fighters put on (Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, Russian Knights, etc.)...more like an aerial ballet....holding tight formation with that many aircraft must take great skill and teamwork....I unfortunately have not seen the Red Arrows perform in person, but I have seen the Canadian Snowbirds, a somewhat similar performance to this, they were impressive as well....
The snowbirds fly the ct-114 tutor trainer. As a trainer jet it is uncapable of supersonic flight and they are able to do a slower flyby and fly a lot closer together. Have seen them several times and i agree, the red arrow team flies a similar show. Still, love the teams of our American and British allies as well.
I love the Red Arrows, wondered why they weren't at Blackpool Airshow this year, now I know :D I hope that We will get to see the Blue Angels one year here in the UK, I'd love to see their display in person :)
Great vid however you must listen to the commentator he is telling you where to look but you tend to take your time getting there and just watch the aircraft that has done their manoveur .Apart from that outstanding .
Just makes me soo proud! Great display! Thanks for all the kind words from our American friends! Awesome display! I can smell the diesel from the smoke all the way from there! 😄👍
Go to see the red arrows every year at my local airshow.(sunderland uk)..before lockdown tho..tears in my eyes everytime cos used to take my late mum and she loved to watch them..
It's not just the fact that they demolish any airshow by their outstanding presence and take the whole thing by storm, but the reality of journey and how they cross to every country in between to perform for audiences across the globe. Love to our pilots as always.
I was at RIAT when they had the Italian Frecci Tricolori and the US Thunderbirds on the bill with the Red Arrows and it was fair to say the Red Arrows just made them all look ordinary. Incredible display.
So PROUD of our Red Arrows squad that took to the sky’s across the pond to display their amazing skills. Love seeing your performance in my hometown North Wales #REDARROWSUK Thank you for your love USA. We are proud that you enjoyed our RED ARROWS SQUAD #SALUTE
john hussey....You will always have a great Air Force!! That's what the British do so well! We on this side of the pond will always respect you!! The United Kingdom and the United States!!
@@tedhernandez2394 Thank you,but its such a shame to see what we once had so many different jets, also the vulcan and valiant bombers now all gone but as you say what we do have is still a great airforce even though a lot smaller.
@@johnhussey3724 You have the Tornado and other aircraft that are quite capable...combined with your well trained pilots? They're a force to be reckoned with. You should look on the positive side. I do and I support you guys.
@@tedhernandez2394 Thanks for your support but i believe the Tornado is now finished with,in its place we do have others, and also we are buying the American jump jets for our new carriers,i don't know the exact name of the jets. There is another jet we scrapped our jump jets the Harrier.Have a nice day.
I remember these guys were doing a show over Edinburgh the same day as my high school prom. Made the day just that much more unforgettable, Much respect to these guys
