The Red Baron Squadron was a USA civil aerobatic display team founded in 1979 at the Southwest Minnesota Regional Airport. Owned by Schwans Foods, the Red Baron Squadron flew to promote the Red Baron brand of pizza along with raising money for children's charities. The team folded in December 1999 as the Schwan Food Company decided it was refocusing its marketing program because of changes in the retail grocery market. The team was disbanded and planes/support equipment was sold at auction.
