Red breasted Merganser, almost inaudible communication just before diving 

Among all the noise in the harbor, I suddenly noticed some almost inaudible noises. It was clear that the birds communicated before diving underwater.
Maybe some kind of arrangement; "shall we now?" or was it a discussion about the tactics to be followed; 'You go around to the left, shall I swim around to the right?'
