@@fraanzfan8158 Maybe they chose securing the racewin and 25 racepoints over risking it all for one racepoint. At least RB was flexible and pro-active enough to do a last minute strategy change on the tyres based upon real-time hands-on experience, instead of staring like sheep onto their monitors and computerdata like the other team.
@@fraanzfan8158 Would be reckless!!! tire management. LH having that extra point doesn't directly jeopardize the championship. Otherwise they would have let Checo race for the extra point!
A lot, and I mean a lot of people searched her name up after the wonders she did at Hungaroring, strategizing Max from P10 to P1. You are the best Hannah!
She is becoming legend in the sport. Weekend after weekend she (and her team) are just spot on. Red Bull are lucky to have this woman and I hope they treat her well.
She’s whopping Ferrari butt so hard. Amazing to see the face of and hear from the person at work behind the scenes, behind the decision making being done in real-time at the races. Bravo to her!
honestly, the reason why red bull are such masters of strategy is that they are adaptable and recognise the limitations in models and simulations. both red bull and ferrari's simulations showed that the hard tyre was a good race tyre - evidenced by the fact that they put max and checo on the hard tyre at the start. but when both drivers said that the tyre took a long time to warm up, they swapped for softs, demonstrating the adaptability when presented with evidence contrary to their data. this is unlike ferrari, who insisted that their simulations on the hard tyre would mean it would come up to temperature in time when they had real time evidence in alpine that it would not.
It's very disapointing how bad and unadaptable ferrari strategists are. I mean they based their strategy on simulation and data from friday when the temperature was 20 degrees higher and on sunday the rain washed the rubber off the track. How in a world could you not take it in consideration? Even when drivers said harder tires can't get into the temperature window and slide a lot they still didn't realise their data was useless
Well they had to change compounds anyway - the rules say you have to use more than one. Ferrari's problem was they started on soft and had to switch to hard, whereas Red Bull started on hard and got to switch to soft.
Not just respect... she is becoming a legend in the sport for her stunning mind and she played a big part of Max winning this weekend in Hungary. She is AWESOME
Ferrari and Red Bull have similar speed now. So winning a race comes down to things as tire management and strategy. That means that this woman has a great role in Red Bull's past victories.
@@eltonluz94 You miss the point. Ofcourse she 's good, but many men and women (girls) still may not think or believe women can (or should) have a career like her in F1. Her success may help people to be more open minded and less macho/conservative/prejudiced about this.
Queen of right strategy calls. Brazil 2020, France 2021, Monaco 2022, Hungary 2022.. and more. Credit to Max as well for full send outlaps at Hungary to win the GP.
Thank you for all you do, so glad you call the strategy for Max and Checo. Making Max the first Dutch world champion. Keep your heads down, and, come on you beauties!!! ❤
not enough people REALIZE the fact that SHE ACTUALLY LISTENS TO THE DRIVERS INPUT AND SUGGESTIONS EVEN BEFORE THE RACE STARTS.....cause we all saw at the same race what happens if you dont...
Outstanding Staff @ Red Bull Racing and racers - don't like when people Q / belittle other people and teams - some say poor showing By Merc F1 and Toto to Q last week's race as being Iffy. Merc F1 and Toto need to apologise ASAP.
Funny how our innate skillz show so early...I believe its genetic memories passed down. I was the only kid I knew that could take his toys apart n then get them back together again. Eventually became a life long CNC Machinist. Women do face an uphill battle in a man's world but glad you were able to push thru! Kudos on the job so far n let's finish strong for Max's #2 WDC! Viva Max!
Look Rueda, this woman beat your ass easily effortlessly. If Ferrari pursue the mentality of Rueda they will never achieve anything even in 100 years. Hire someone who is young, brave and committed, not people who doesn't learn from their errors but keep making mistakes.
That proves that a woman can still be feminine, beautiful and so clever at the same time. This woman did not get her crucial job because she was a woman. She got it because she was better than all the others, including men. An F1 team that does not employ eligible capable clever women because they are women, preferring to employ a less clever or capable men, will lose to teams that employ according to merits. Therefore, we do not need to have teams force themselves to employ women like Lewis Hamilton wants. They will voluntarily do it once they find the best between them, or risk losing to other teams.
Good points, but your last paragraph contradicts what Hannah Schmitz says between 7:20 - 8:00. She clearly says it was harder to get her position because she's a woman. And I wouldn't interpret Lewis Hamilton as pushing to get women or people from minorities into better careers despite them lacking talent or dedication, I rather see him as vocal that chances aren't equal, and that a lot of talent is wasted when people don't get chances because they aren't even considered for reasons that should be unrelated (like gender or skin color). Btw, any big company that only hires the people it expects to perform well, never tests its assumptions in their hiring process, i.e. who gets labelled as "no chance" will have no chance, no matter the effort. That can also happen to white male people, e.g. being excluded for a lack of social status. A lack of role models does already do enough damage in people ruling themselves out. We don't do ourselves a favor when additionally people who don't look stereotypical for a position have to pass a higher standard.
