I'm leaving a comment before watching .I could never believe to see this fruit again .IM WEST AFRICAN SO IM DRUILING HERE I HAVE BEEN CRAVING THIS FRUIT FOR 29 YRS NOW LEAVING IN USA and missing my urban life ,I grew up in an orchard environment, everything is killed and the land sold ,I miss many wild tropical plants and fruit ,cashew tree was one of them .I COULD CRY I SWEAR.I EVEN ONE TIME ORDER THE JUICE ON AMAZIN .JUST TO TASTE IT AGAIN AND SMELL IT AGAIN.I MISS MY SMALL LOST PARADISE.

Grew up in Trinidad West Indies and love cashews. They make one of the best jams along with mango and guava. Like mango, they make an excellent curry dish. Unfortunately they don't travel well and have never seen them in the US fresh or as a jam in online stores. I like the serenity of the location.

In My homeland in Chiapas, Mexico there are tons of this fruit and we call it marañon, besides eating the toasted nuts or making some jam out of the fruto, there is no more known uses. I find interesting to see what kind of dishes people around the world do with fruits and vegetables native from Brazil. My mom made cashew fruit jam and cashew fruit honey, and there also the roasted cashew nut and cashew meat, which is made with the cashew fruit, but a salad with shrimp is very interesting and looks tasty!

Wow. You have a very good fruiting of Cashews there. Here we have yellow, orange and red cashews however they didn't mature as good as yours. We usually just chop it and toss with some salt or sometimes dip with vinegar. 🇵🇭

In Malaysia we call this fruit as 'GAJUS' or some northern part states call JANGUS. The dried seed of the fruit is very nice to eat. Very creamy taste and often use in Briani Rice cooking as flavor...
