Red Cone was an amazing place - This trail so close to Denver is beautiful. It's also frightening going down the extremely steep side of the pass. After that I shot over to Leadville - where I stayed in this beautifully restored hotel called the Deleware. Then I got to find some tucked away camping spots along the way to Aspen, the rivers in the area are so pretty- they are blue from some of the sediment in the rocks that they pick up along the way it seems. I capped the week off by climbing up to Pearl Pass on the Aspen side. I really had an amazing time going offroad and meeting new people along the way to share the excitement with.
