You claim there are 6 gold bars at the first location when it clearly shows 1 , I noticed a few other videos you did you had one for annesburg you wasted time just to go to a fence at the end and then also not using a good how to get there formation or line , you are good with the environment overall I will say but honestly could use some improving with small things , just wanted to put that out there ,figure you probably will brush it off but side from that thank you for the guides 👍😎
@@guerilla9one see at 4:20 as I pick up the first treasure hunt the Landmarks of Riches, it has 6 goldbars. Sorry to hear some of this video rubs you the wrong way. What I have learned over the many years while creating guide content like this, is that you can not please everyone, and I'd be a fool to even try. No matter what I do, and how I do things, there is always a small percentage of viewers who complain about something. If I did the other way, a small percentage of viewers would complain about that. I never take viewer criticism lightly, but it's rarely constructive, since people really don't know what they are talking about. It so easily comes out like pety whining and crying about irrelevant matters 🤷🏻♂️ I still appreciate the effort 😊👍🏻
Seeing this video and reading these comments, it’s nice to know there’s still a solid amount of people playing RDR2 story mode. I wish they’d stop trying to milk online and just give us a story dlc
Im 15 days into RDO and it sucks honestly... even with a big posse of my buds we just go from point a to point b then shoot some folks rinse repeat. Its ROUGH.
What I do is as soon as Arthur and the gang get to Valentine, I don't do any missions or anything else besides find all the gold bars I can. And then I just go back to camp and save my game. Then, everytime I want to play through the story again I just use that save 😂
I usually wait until the end of chapter to get all of the gold and then sell it so I can go to the pig farm and they’ll stash it in the walls and then I come in as John and collect all of the money
@Nationof300 might as well wait to save all the money as arthur and do all the missions and before he dies just do pig farm and have money as John for the beginning for him
@@Turco949uh no. The whole goal is for John and his family to have money. Whatever I have leftover, which is usually ALOT. I go to the pig farm and let them steal all my shit for John. So when I play John, I can just go and pick up the money dumbass.
Been playing RDR2 since early 2020 and i always come to this video for the gold bars. On my 10th/11th play through and i always come back to this every play through. this video is an absolute gem pal, thank you!
11th playthrough o.o I'm still on my first, still in chapter 2. I fish, hunt to craft legend of the East Satchel and I go after gang hideout, but I reload afterward because I don't wanna wipe them out hehe.
Many RU-vidrs will analyze only 1/3 of the information in 10 minutes, the same person made a complete guide to all the treasures in 20 minutes. Legend of the Wild West!
To everyone who wants to transfer ALL THEIR MONEY from Arthur to John: Find the Aberdeen Pig Farm before Arthur's last mission. They will knock you out and take all your money. Once you start as John, you can go back to their abandoned house and take the money.
@@whatdidyoujustsay5543 after you get eagle falls back to his dad and Charles leaves, that's when you do the pig farm thing. Because the next mission with Dutch at camp starts about 3 back to back missions where you won't be free to do anything in-between before the epilogue

I’ve gone to this guide every new play through I’ve done, I’m on my 8th right now and going for 100% completion, needless to say the guide never disappointed!
Kudos man. No commentary, no BS, no time-wasting of any kind. Simple straightforward A-to-B-to-C... walk-through, chapter availability clearly noted, for all consoles and PC version of the game. This is how a tutorial video should look like. Taking just under 26 minutes to clearly show how to obtain 24 gold bars and 1 gold ingot which is in turn 12.300,00$ in game making this a roughly 473,07$/minute video. Joking aside well done man, well done.
@@OrcCorp This is my favorite open world game by far and I am still playing it a lot. Probably doing my 6th or 7th play-trough exploring and trying to find new stuff. I am also watching a lot of RDR2 videos and when I stumble upon a content which is made in a simple no BS way showing exactly what you wanted to see I take a couple of minutes to give a commentary and thumb up. Hopefully we will see RDR3 soon since the community is still strong. If that happens I hope to see more of your content and in meanwhile I will check your other game vids for sure. Keep up the great work.

I have played and completed RDR2 some 15 times over the last year. In searching for all the gold, the one area that has ALWAYS been elusive to me was the train wrecked cars on the bridge. I have seen many videos on getting into it but EVERY SINGLE ONE always took me the long way around the cliffs and I could never get to it. I had just resigned myself that it was never going to happen. I'm not the most patient individual. I saw you video and began following your steps. It was when I saw the direction you took AND HOW EASY IT WAS to get inside the car that I had to try it! I got inside on my first attempt!!!! For that, you have my thumbs up and a new subscriber. I just wanted to say "THANK YOU!!!!"
@@damienandrade0759 Let yourself get caught by the cops in the mission where you go to the cemetery in Saint Denis. When you lose them, the sniper will be off. You used to be able to finish the mission and have the sniper off until you start another mission (you could even do it in replay), but they patched it. You can still go to New Austin before finishing the mission, but you have to take John with you and not everything is available (you need to use the wagon method for everything else). You also have to be very careful because if you hurt John you not only lose all your progress, but you have a bad checkpoint so you need to redo the whole mission. His horse will disappear at some point which makes it very easy to hurt him whether he follows behind you on foot (don’t worry he teleports closer to you if you get too far ahead) or shares the saddle with you.
Thanks man. It helped a lot. I'm replaying the story for the 5th time and I didn't realize everything the game had to explore, so I decided to play again and do everything the game offers.
Dude this video is so helpful. I use it on every play through I do because I like to just get tons of money as soon as I can. Every other video I found has way more time wasting and less actual content.
**SPOILERS** If you want to transfer all your money to john then before doing the last mission, go to the aberdeen pig farm located under emerald ranch and drink the alcohol they give you, they then rob you for all of your money. then once youre in prologue, go back to the farm and take the money from behind the painting on the 1st floor
Still the best, most informative guide to getting all the gold bars in game. Love it. No need for exploits if you grabs these gold bars- you’ll have more than enough money to do whatever you want.
There was someone else I tried watching for a second for rdr2 but than it turned out oh hey guys I know you have already been watching for 45 minutes but I have only Wait till now for the views you needed to pre order this or have had it exclusively sent to you from Rockstar or something and I droped that channel like it was covid

Some gold bars will respawn again after you playing John, I found them again when i completed epilogue 2 (New respawn gold bars list) 5:58 Limpany,sheriff’s office 6:38 Train wreck at cotorra springs 21:59 Braithwaite Manor NOTE!: I collect them when i played Arthur, after I completed epilogue 2 I comeback with John, only gold bars in the loot box will comeback, not available for treasure map, don’t waste your time to check it if you already collect them before, because i’m already check them all again and nothing
Just north of Limpany by the dotted trail that takes you to horseshoe overlook should be a burnt forest, if you look around that area I found a hidden chuckwagon and underneath it is a lock box with gold. 70% sure

@Chris Loc Nope, it was easy. The only pain in the ass is traveling. Best is to ride a horse or more and upgrade the bonding, because it's A LOT of traveling. Do you know how to get free horses from the stables using the cart/wanted method?

I have been playing the epilogue for two years accumulating money robbing trains using them as escape vehicles and driving train backward to get on the other track I have 160k so far I use a lot of money buying off bounties
@@bulletberg7601 still playing the epilogue, still getting gold bars, have around $217,000. so full bounties no problem, all the ammo and tonics I need in Valentine, its the best place
@@bulletberg7601 that would take a very long time as I spend money paying bounties. at $1500. bounties. 9 bountie hunters and 3 hound dogs are always after me. the dogs can kill you too. while shooting the bountie hunters the dogs chew at my feet so I have to be on high ground to have any chance to survive. I enjoy robbing trains when i have a $1500 bountie so I do it for fun not the money.

I love how the amounts of money you can make are realistic for the time period. So when you play poker you don't make much, but it's alot in those days.
Imagine if there were a co-op story mode where one player could be Arthur and the other could be John and both players could ride around separately in the world and play optional missions together etc.
Landmark of riches is one map leads to another that leads to another that leads to another that leads to treasure that leads to van horn saint denis or emerald ranch (after Hosea’s second chapter 2 mission)

To the north west of owanjila lake there is a stranger camp ..near his wagon there is a lock box ..u will get 3 gold nuggets ..it's on the way for the first location in this video
So the Rhodes gold, i figured id give it a try to see if i ended up helping the escapees enough times, low and behold it worked! I mustve helped them out months ago because i havent seen em in months until that spot you showed me, thanks my friend! I now have close to 10000$ in chapter 2! Appreciated!

This game made realize home mush I missed working with horses I used to do it when I was a younger kid and I sorta took it for granted the opportunity I had, I've moved since then but I'm going to my hometown tomorrow and I'm gonna se if I can remember the name of the ranch I used to work on and see if I can stop by and see all the horses I worked with, the main one was a half clydesdale named little bear who as his named suggests was attacked by a bear as a foal and has scars across his haunches buy he rides good, good I miss that animal I hope i can see him

There’s more treasure in another train wagon lower down from the one with gold bars at the wreck, the wagon even has an open door so you can just walk right in.
