I am so attached to these characters and knowing the fate of these characters, knowing what happens in rdr1.. i feel like the developers are trolling our feelings
I love Mary-Beth’s reaction when she realizes what song he’s playing. Just seems so genuine. Like when you were little and one of your favourite songs comes on the radio.
Wait wtf Reverend Swanson literally got his shit together in chapter 6 when things were falling apart. What a coincidence. He was a mess in chapter 1-4
@@rinxeh I don't think so. At least, not 100%. Remember, he and Bill were hesitant to pick a side. But for those who have played RDR1, we know what eventually becomes of them
@@ianjohnson3840 Wrong, Dutch would have doomed them all eventually with or without Micah. Don't forget that Molly ratted on the gang in the chapter 4 finale and that's what got Hosea and Lenny killed. That's what drove Dutch over the edge. Micah just made things worse in the end when he became a rat after Guarma.
@@DaveEllen967 Molly wasn't the one who ratted them out. It was Micah. Micah has always been making deals with them but he just became an official "business partner" with Agent Milton after their return from the Caribbean.
ChipsBuzz you can choose not to kill him yourself but he will still go to jail and get hung. So he dies either way. Personally, I prefer John doing it himself because it’s quick and Javier gets to die free like he always wanted.
@@paycunha6092 i know, damn year. But even Javier voice actor said "forget about Javier in rdr1, there's two different people" well something like this
I love these interactions and all the little bits of character you get to see like Hosea making sure John sits with his family for the celebrations. It's such a small thing but it makes coming back and watching these clips even better.
One of the most wholesome scenes throughout the whole game. Everybody’s United, no drama, no tension, just everybody by the campfire celebrating the return of a fellow member. Great stuff!
If I remember correctly this can trigger after you rescue Jack? Just heartbreaking that progressing to the end one by one the gang members dies and some choose to leave. I blame Micah for what happened to Dutch
(x2) (Estribillo x2)
If anyone remembers from rdr1 javier mentions to John about the old life they had and didn’t it mean anything to him. I think Javier was on about these kind of moments 🥺
The really sad thing is, if you notice by chapter 6 javier Is sitting alone around the fire singing. No one is singing along and there are no laughs anymore
English Lyrics: From the Sierra Morena, Sweet little heaven, is prancing down A pair of little black eyes, Sweet little heaven, is sneaking by. (x2) Refrain: Ay, ay, ay, ay, Sing, don't cry, Because singing makes rejoice, Sweet little heaven, our hearts. That beauty mark that you have Sweet little heaven, beside your mouth, Do not give it to anyone, Sweet little heaven, for it is mine. (x2) (Refrain)
I remember playing Red Dead Redemption in 2014 as my first ever M rated game and now after playing this back in 2020, it just hurts to know what will happen
@@scottfisher7354 That’s the perfect save. I have one like that. I bring food to the camp, do stranger missions, and just enjoy the game and not just rush the story like everyone else, in fact, i don’t even do the story.
This is the night you bring Jack back first playthrough I did I just slept that night to start the next mission when i fell in love with this game I replay it for these little interactions
It's these moments that help you see why Arthur would do so much for the gang. Why so many of them would be willing to follow Dutch, the founder and head of this found family. They really do love each other. I find it interesting that only 2 people are really on the outskirts of these parties, and they're the ones arguably most responsible for it's collapse. Micah and Strauss. Strauss has his money lending business, which even Arthur and Dutch think of as nasty, evil work. And it directly leads to Arthur getting TB, which while it pushed him to chase redemption, removed him as the only moderating voice in Dutch's ear after Hosea died. And Micah was the devil on Dutch's shoulder, whispering venom into his ear like Wormtongue to King Theoden, poisoning him against the people who loved Dutch and would have protected him with their lives. These parties really make you love this gang of outlaws, a found family chasing the dream of the America that could have been, where men lived free and honestly. Of a country without distinctions between class and race, without a gulf between rich and poor. A dream of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Dutch didn't realise until too late that it's called The American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.

im pretty sure micah never sang along with everyone during this event, almost as if he was never invested in the gang whatsoever, which has tons of foreshadowing to the future and would be a good reason as to why he had so little empathy for the gang in chapters 4-6
