The 2 of them just get killed and the game just carried on like nothing happened. Especially since the Sean and Lenny were 2 of the most likeable characters in the gang

@@sallycastillo4981 Micah was already in Dutch's ear, after all Micah convinced Dutch to rob the boat in Blackwater whilst Hosea tried to convince Dutch not to do it but to no avail. Hosea was keeping things together but if he had survived Saint Denis sooner or later him and Dutch would come to blows, if you keep an eye out on the campsites especially when they're in Mountains you'll notice that Dutch and Hosea argue a lot.

It happens, he misses the gang and the outlaw life. They were family and now that he left and settled down he uses the photo to remember how things were before everything fell apart and he felt whole again. He loves his life but misses the adventure and excitement that came with rolling with outlaws. It's like an office worker that used to be punk rock with his friends in high school before disbanding for college and such

I think the most poetic thing is Dutch had his clarity moment before his fall in RDR1 where he went to the mountain to kill Micah. He even tells John "I'm here for the same reason as you." To kill Micah. Dutch kills the person who got a lot of his friends killed.
Ultimately by that point Dutch realized Micah was the rat but there was nothing to mend or fix by that point with the remaining survivors. Hence why he just doesn't say anything to John and just walks away. Dutch knew he's the one who fucked everything up. It's just by Rdr1 he stoops to his lowest point with nothing to go for anymore.
Dutch is the one to blame in first place. His narcissist personality destroyed the gang, and only gets worse as the story progresses. the head trauma, concussion, he gets on the trolly robbery also speeds up Dutch's bad mental conditions, he was pretty "sick" and packed a lot of negative psychological and psychiatric disorders (Narcissisim, Gog Complex, Psychopathy, most likely neurological malfunction of the pre frontal cortex, amygdala, and others possibly also in the right parietal lobe, mythomania, paranoid personality, also likely borderline personality disorder, compulsive liar... man, he really scores - which means he may not have it - on almost all of the worst disorders...)
The wedding scene brings me on the verge of tears, I'm so happy that, in that moment, they're happy. They're the happiest they've ever been in so long after all the fighting and tragedy. Maybe they didn't get to hold onto it forever, but at least they were given the chance to be happy for a little while because of the sacrifices Arthur and all of the good gang members made in attempt to save them all.
Dutch died in rdr1 when john had him on gunpoint and he did something similar saying he has a plan and saying its a good one But instead of falling into a river he fell on some rocks and died
Arthur’s death depends on your honor level; Too low - Micah shots him. High - watching the sunrise Karen - believed to have drank herself to death Strauss - arrested, doesn’t talk, dies in prison. Sadie - goes to South America Kieran - captured and beheaded by the O’Driscolls Cain, the dog - believed to have been killed by Micah Your horse - shot, helping you ensure that John escapes.
If you think about it, the last remaining former Van Der Linde members that are still alive/not captured are Jack, Sadie, Charles, Pearson, Tilly, Josiah and Swanson. Milton and Ross said they're gonna kill them all and they failed.
With the exception of Charles and Sadie, the survivors didn't commit any real crimes besides run with the gang. So I guess they thought that they weren't going to cause trouble while the other gang members are still at large.
The gang was supposed to be in Tahiti eating mangos. I wish the gang didn’t break apart. People going separate way and dying was the saddest thing. This is all Micahs fault. It’s best just to stay in horse shoe overlook.
you may be in fact assured that is a fact that that image is of the Downes family, not the Trelawny - he had children too, which does not show in the cut scene. plus just put side to side the faces of Trelawny and Edith son and they're nothing alike. It's been debunked already, a small mistake in an awesome video.

@@Skive_67 not at all, pretty sure 70-80% of the player base believes the high honour death is the canon, and actually goes with the philosophy of Arthur of finally doing something right in his short life.

Hosea’s death was the one who hit me the hardest he was my favourite one in the gang because he was the only one that didn’t listen too Dutch and actually wanted peace and too stop robbing and killing but he still went with him because he was loyal to the gang and in the end it was Dutch that got him killed for not listening to hosea
It's interesting that Arthur's death is so "violent" if you play the game w/low honor. I only put quotes because being shot in the head would be less horrible than slowly drowning or suffocating in your own body.
In fact Strauss dies in imprisoned by the Pinkertons. We know this on the Epilogue, as John is said Strauss died in such circumstances without rating the gang for everybody's (almost at least) disbelief. Maybe he had his principles, most of them awful but loyal as people Dutch always preached (while himself was not so both to himself and worst to the gang) he wanted to be surrounded by (even if he also despised Strauss, he states he prefer robbery to usury and and the final mission of chapter II he's badmouthing Strauss while having a whiskey with Arthur, after he dispatched Strauss with John to confirm if business go well - as he cannot stand anymore Strauss's company nor presence). Bill's, Javier's, Dutch's and John & family's (Uncle's "included") destinies are known during the story of RDR
John killing Micah led Ross right to him, eventually leading to his death, and I wouldnt be surprised if the same happened to Jack eventually. It's a shame but it's true
Yeah that's sad, John did everything he could so Jack didn't have to live that life but as we see at Epilogue of RDR1 Jack has turned into another outlaw.

Charles is dead by RDR1. He participated in Blackwater and Saint Denis, meaning th government wanted him dead and would have sent John after him if he was alive.
No because the Pinkerton already discovered where John lived but yea they would live happy together. (Except the fact that i Rob trains every Tuesday and never come by the ranch)
3 DLC’s I personally want for RDR2: 1: Playing as either Bill or Javier after the events of RDR2 when they escaped to Mexico together. 2: Blackwater heist! Who doesn’t wanna see what exactly happened before the escape to the snow mountains? 3: A little prequel to RDR2 where you play as Hosea starting up the gang with Dutch and meeting Arthur!

The reverend is a very underrated moment within the game for me. I love he is clean by the end of the game. Gaining some clarity and giving Arthur some words to think about.
True. However honestly, if u complete a specific side mission, u speak to a nun instead of the reverend, and that cutscene is way better. I wish it was reverend that made the speech instead of the nun, though it wouldn’t fit his character.
Seeing as (almost) everybody dies and their fates can be guessed from playing RDR1, I am currently approaching RDR2 as a guy who's destined to die, but will make the best of it for the others. That would be the saving grace of my playthrough, as, otherwise, it'd all feel meaningless.

The worst part about Molly's death is she never did tell on the Gang. When you go get Abigail back from the Pinkertons with Sadie he says that he couldn't get Molly to talk but Micah did.
We all know that Javier was not evil we can see him watching Lenny in saint Denis mission and he doesn't point a gun at arthur and John in the chapter 6 mission where arthur found out that micah is the rat
Also with Strauss he got picked up by Milton and interrogated and even though Arthur kicked him out, he never said where they were and so was beaten and later on died. It’s actually quite sad that he died and was still loyal to the gang
I do, but I would like a complete new story, I feel like the "Redemption" saga is perfect as it is, the story of the Van Der Linde gang is finished (there's Jack Marston, as the only remaining member - if you counted him as one - alive, but I don't care for him that much). So... either a Red Dead Revolver II (reprising the story of Red) or a complete new saga called "Red Dead [something-else]".

I remember crying seeing Mary Beth as an author because she requested a pen when I was Arthur the whole game as Arthur I could never find a pen.. Seeing Pearson own a butcher shop and seeing the picture of the gang broke me. During the entire credits I kept saying to myself "May I Stand Unshaken"

Now depending on your honor at the very end with Author, you either get an ending where Author just dies and gazes off to the beautiful scenery, or if you got bad honor; Micah executes you. So really, the true ending is him succumbing to his sickness and dying in peace. Obviously, the ending you see in this video of Author was him having Low Honor, therefore Micah executes him.

Yeah i was disappointed with those "reunions" john had with mary-beth tilly and pearson i would have gladly watched a 10 minute cutscene of them telling john what they did since they last saw him and ask him about the other gang members and also how john just bumped into uncle in blackwater and no convo about what he did either coz didnt he run off with pearson and mary-beth?
I think that only happens if you and your horse are good friends. I had a beautiful war horse called strawberry and I didn't want it to die, so I did the last mission with the horse you use to go back to Shady Bell un chapter 6

Lenny and Sean's death hit the hardest because it's always so sudden there's a lot of tension in both the scenes but you don't expect the younger ones that you've grown to like die
Sean died. And also, I know Charles left. However the comment stated “who died, and who left” I just pointed out the people who were most likely going to take Arthur’s side.
Well nobody liked Sean. However if you listen to some dialogue, Sean wants to be just like Arthur, or impress him. I don’t see Sean as a loyalist to Dutch, so I believe Sean would be on Arthur’s side.
