Yeah, I could say the same about GTA IV! I'm playing it on the Steam Deck and it looks flawless, maybe a building doesn't have insane details, but I switch between a 2023 game to GTA IV and it doesn't phase me.
The second is no less fun. I'm on chapter 2 and already I've seen things that I missed during my first playthrough of 120 hours lol. This time around, I'm playing without the mini map to increase immersion. And I'm glad I did. I stumbled on some pretty interesting things by accident.
@@scottd7222 maybe, but I'm also obsessed with the fallout lore and setting and they are some of my favorite games but I can objectively say that parts of those game aren't very good.
Its an incredible game. I will admit at first i was a little turned off by how slow it was, but once i relaxed it truly is one of the most believable open world games i have ever played.
Rockstar is just on another level. No other game comes together like a Rockstar single player. There catalog is absolutely legendary. Easily the top game studio. Lots of close seconds, but none done on the scale that Rockstar does.
@Penguplier No the ps5 only supports 1080p 120hz and 4k 60hz but if you have a hdmi 2.1 supported tv or monitor you could play 4k 120hz. Im not talking about only rdr2 Im talking about general ps5 performence
So with a 4k120Hz television, can I go to 60fps in 4k while in 1080p 120 fps? I mean, practically with a television like that, can I exceed the normal 30fps of the dead 2 network? (not including HDMI 2.1)
@@brandon_rosales.7450 You can play games on ps5 on 4k 120hz if you have a hdmi 2.1 supported tv or monitor and 1080p 120hz too but in rdr2 it's only 4k 30hz and 1080p 60hz and if you enable ray tracing say in cod bocw you could play 4k 60hz
@@metekaandemiryurek5244 Wow I sprout those is cool that well that there's a way to raise fps to the dead redemption 2 :D network, so you told me, now I know because in most gameplay videos of the dead 2 network on ps5 4k are 30fps, I think the majority doesn't have HDMI 2.1 and they're more interested in HDR
@@joshuamartinez7409 Nope not yet as of right now unfortunately. I mean while the game did get updated I still want Rockstar to release an official PS5 port, which is looking less and less likely as time goes on, even though they said they were gonna do it but never did.

@@odin6667 An upgrade won't be announced anytime soon, they are only just releasing GTA 5 on next gen and RDR2 hasn't made them as much money as GTA 5 so they have no reason to give RDR2 an upgrade when GTA 5 is coming out. You have a while before anything will be announced, if it happens at all.
this is Grove Street Games man, not the Rockstar. No excuses I know. Cause Rockstar has responsibility for their trilogy in any case. But still. Poor awful trilogy - not their work (unfortunately). Thats the good example, when big publisher decided to make some extra money, and does it by the hands of side-studio. Yep... Big loss.
@@minthantswe8552 sorry, but the people who grow up with original trilogy seen some sh*t like bugs and imperfect graphics. And I was one of them. I clearly remember those textures, that ripping through models up in the sky and other pathetic glitches. We talking not about simple bugs. Music (a lot of music) deleted from radio. And it’s important thing for atmosphere of each gaming age (80s, 90s). Faces and body models are ridiculous (and sometimes are disgustingly funny) and unreal. And actually glitches not first problem, but let be honest - they are many, that’s why you can see 1hour compilation videos on RU-vid with such a “overreacting” things. Sorry but not sorry. They did broke the game. And now all three games become something wosrt version of themselves. 4K and HighRes textures not the greatest solution to all your problems, if you doing remaster. You need to keep the atmosphere and will try to not ruin your own working product. And Rockstar failed it. They ruined it. Graphics was a problem in 2021. Now we have ridiculous graphics, damaged playlist, AND new glitches. Yeah. That is overreacting, sure. Sorry for long text.
I will say this, with GTA I wasn’t too big on the multiplayer but thought the story had some very high moments. Here I fee the same with online features, but WOW this story is amazing, and the hours upon hours of content created around the atmosphere makes doing main missions and exploring the world just as fun. I didn’t know I’d ever be so impressed with a rockstar game, but I probably would’ve paid up to a couple hundred just for the game itself if rockstar tried pulling it and most games I can’t say that.
I fired this game up to play the story again. It's been a long time since I've played it. I'm not a fan of multiplayer games I like single player games with good stories.

This was amazing it pulled my heart strings as you go thru story. Visually it’s amazing when it was PS4 PRO NOW ON MY PS5 I can’t wait to see what it looks and plays

It's really amazing that after all the years of technological advancements, Rockstar still can't come up with a mechanic more inventive than "chase guy down" and "Read map for 5 hours." But if you had to get lost in the loneliness of an open world game, this is the only one worth suffering for.
First played this on the Slim, was a great experience and I'm restarting the game on the Series X. Came to see how the pro version looked on the PS5. Looks great, nice vid. 😊
I would anything to play rdr2 for the first game again I have a lot of memories with this game when I first played, when I got used to it, and when I was a master at it
I'm about to start playing it for the first time tomorrow. I'm beyond excited, I set this game on the shelf when it came out and now I'm finally to a point to where I can sit and enjoy this masterpiece

I've never played this game in my entire life, and people be saying its a gem. I'll play it once I platinum RE4R and update y'all on whether I find the game great or not (i actually think itll be good since its by Rockstar)

@@joshstergo6293 unfortunately your tv will always say 60fps.. Even on 30fps titles.. As for the resolution.. not sure it goes up to 4k.. cant remember what the dynamic res was.
A solid pc like mine with a 2070 can't even run this game at 4k at 60fps with Xbox one graphics settings, I don't really know what you expect, this game is very graphically taxing even a console as powerful as a ps5 isn't going to be able to run at 4k on the graphics settings it's currently at.
@@aaravdhayal810 No, it's not. It uses same resolution PS4 pro uses: 1920x2160. Which results in blurry image. Game is 3840x2160 only on PC, Xbox One X and Series X.
For me rdr2 always has been a next gen game cause i never was able to play it on my 4pro it heated up and shutdown everytime and the cooler was so loud i had to play with Headset. sorry for my bad english fellas
Im so on the fence if i should download this game on the PS5.. Long time since i played it, but i just cant go back to 30 frames... I think i will wait for a PS5, performance mode.
@@vexaddict3858 I had to download it, and try. Enjoying it very much.. Not as "laggy" as i thought it would be. First thing i did, was do the Hosea hunting quest, and then picked up the white arabian horse.
This is fake. It's on pc. Ps5 graphics are horrible I just played it on mine. It's also not 4k it's 1920x2160 checkerboard and it's 30fps on ps5 please don't confuse people.
Yeah, but the second is a prequel so you can really just play in any order you want (The credits in the 2nd game show how John gets where he is in the first game)
