Saddle up partner! In today's episode of Best Glitches, we'll be checking out Red Dead Redemption! My mic broke while making this video so please excuse the audio if it drastically changes at one point.
My favorite glitch is from the unpatched version of Red Dead Redemption. Every weapon in the game has a reticle that allows you to see where you are aiming, even explosives, but they are invisible. If you hold a moltov cocktail or dynamite and try to aim at someone with deadeye, you can mark NPCs like other weapons. When you throw your explosive, what happens is it will float in the air and hover to the target, heat-seaking style. It's hilarious when you aim it at passing carriages.
@Youre Gonna Need a Bigger Boat, not sure if I'm "special", but I never had any (really) bad frame drops/glitches. For what it was, RDR1 was pretty smooth...
I know this vid is old but i got one. All the zombies in undead nightmare if u play too long you turn the zombies into normal npc not zombies and they shoot at you
This is missing the best glitch. The sky walking glitch Also knowing as the clip glitch where you can run in the air and go anywhere you wanted. I even knew how to do it sideways and run up and down with the guy in the lay down position. It is in one of my old rdr glitch vids.
4:12 I love stuff like that where you can go inside places you normally wouldn’t be able to go inside. But it’s even cooler that there’s actually stuff in there to see almost like they wanted us to glitch our way in there.
It's a shame they patch things like this out. It must be so rare that someone would accidentally perform one of these that they may as well be left in because they're hilarious! I wish I knew about some of these when I had the game lol, great video
The top glitches were the speed glitch, no clip glitch, shockwave glitch, flying glitch, invincibility glitch, and the freezing glitch. -You didn't play enough rdr
Fun video. I played through the game a second time recently prior to the sequel's release and I had a glitch happen I'd never seen before. In Mexico, I think I had just finished a mission, down the road I see this NPC riding horseback and he was completely on fire just trotting a long. Those manimal glitches are hilarious. I've never seen one though. I've seen plenty of horse and carriage bugs though. I never knew about the sky launching ones. Gaming glitches can be so fascinating sometimes. They are sort of a mysterious and unknown dimension within a game that often allows one to see the world from the inside out. Sort of feels like you've stepped into the Twilight Zone. I suppose in RDR you could roleplay along with these glitches and pretend that your character has just consumed Peyote.
@@gustarddonut1452 RDR1's story is about showing John's love for his family. He is willing to kill his former gang, including his adoptive father, Dutch Van Der Linde, for his wife and son. After he realizes the Bureau won't give him or his family any peace as long as he lives, he sacrifices himself as his last act of redemption. EDIT: Typo fixes
John Marston it is a good story, but honestly it’s a bit underwhelming, I think L.A Noire has a much better more comprehensive story and the game play is just as fun and rewarding in its own way, of course that game isn’t even developed by R* so perhaps it’s an unfair comparison, if I had to pick a best R* game I would probably say Redemption is the best, but R*’s 3D Universe from GTA makes me personally prefer those games, but while GTA 4 is a great game it’s not anything unique, and GTA V is rather lame story wise. I didn’t mention RDR2 here but I personally thought it took a little too many creative liberties with the story.
Kind of a glitch: we use to spawn a ridiculous amount of bears and have them chase us until we found unsuspecting players to which we would unleash the fury of our bear army upon them.
There was this one weird one, where sometimes NPC’s who would be shot would keep crawling and when you would shoot them the whole screen would shake and there was this loud noise that kinda sounded like the dead eye effect? It was creepy cause the screen would cut out and come back and the world around my character would get all blurry. I took a video of it in 2013 i’ll try to look for it and post it
Two glitches I'm having in RDR, whenever I have lunch room at Ridgewood farm & Plainview, I have to pay and rent it again moments later or after I wake up. The second one I saw today as I was riding through Gaptooth Ridge it started raining horses. Just a bunch of horses falling all around me to their death.
I remember hog tying some dude and accidentally dropping him near one side of a fence, then trying to grab him from the other side of said fence only to get teleported into the sky. After falling down to earth, and not taking any fall damage for some reason, I looked around only to find that I had somehow managed to instant transmission myself into mexico.
its going to suck so bad if the second one is not as free as this one. microtransactions and restrictions ruined gta online. HAVE TO WAIT 10 MINUTES TO DO ANOTHER CEO MISSION. just let me do it straight away. oh what because im a great pilot and i can use my skill to complete it in 4 minutes flat the game has to punish me for being quick? i wont buy a shark card. i already paid 60 dollars on the game just give me the dlc for free. if your at lease going to charge make every single thing come in a 10 dollar pack like the 360 days.
The physics worry me as well. If you look at the trailer you can see after someone falls of a carriage he just slides along the floor for a short distance, just like in V's downgraded physics
nice video, not sure if it was sp or mp but in a mission at a mine, when i was done and headed for the way out, before or right at the entrance of the mine my character suddenly fell and spun around with his arms and legs straight out for ages with a blue or grey foreground, it was fun :)
bro my game literally has the worst glitches. The charchters will be mouthing words in cutscene. I will sometimes be launched under the ground or start flying. The menu doesnt work sometimes too
Sometimes theres an option to go to Blackwater from the stagecoach at McFarleline's(i forgot how to spell it, sorry) Ranch way before you unlocked Blackwater. If you tried to fast travel, it would do an infinite loop but if you watch the ride then the stagecoach will try to find a way there but would always get stuck and get spooked and leave. If you jump out of the stagecoach the map would not render and you'll get that weird datamosh effect like you do when you fall out of the map. Eventually the map will render again and you can repeat it
One time I was doing the betrayed in Mexico mission. I skipped to destination. The ground looked like a mustard sea and after a couple of seconds of horror it loaded in and I was confused.
One time in the tall trees village I stepped on a kettle right after opening the door at the store and it exploded, it made a loud pan noise and jhon flailed all the way to the other side of the room
I was so young when I seen this happen, I only ever happened to get it once, but there was a god mode glitch on ps3 multiplayer where you killed youurself looking through a window in one of the Mexican cities and you respawned and couldn’t ever die
I played this on Xbox 360 and I always experienced the manamal glitch but mainly the horses where swapped out with men and women, the bird one only happened once for me though.
Oh also I remember there used to be a way to make the carriages and carts fly around like fucking missiles and people riding them would get launched and the horses would just derp out lol
Dunno if it's a glitch or not, but: In the first mission given to you by the Sheriff in Armadillo, we were supposed to follow a member of the Walton Gang. I went via the horsetrail, you know, same as the gang member. However, the sheriff was having none of that shit and decided to go 'cross country, randomly teleporting around in my wake. I did manage to find the way to the gang hideout though and beat the mission. This was on the patched (I assume) Xbox 360 version.
I know this is 4 years ago but When I accidentally ride my horse off a cliff instead of John and my horse collapsing, the entire game breaks. John and the horse unironically just start flying mid air at high speed and when I press Y John gets stuck mid air Is there a fix for this?
I remember a glitch happening where I was trapped outside of the map in a empty place floating and it happened while playing undead nightmare I cannot remember how I did it though but I took pictures. On a side note I played multiplayer on Xbox one and it was nothing like it was on Xbox 360 everyone was dying and even dumber I went on a no killing other players server or whatever it is called and people kept trying to shoot and kill each other it was ridiculous! Other side note 6:23 those are definitely screams of horror I can only imagine what John is seeing here
Heyo, I'm not sure if you are aware but on Twitter, IdolNinja mentioned something good happening a few days ago. He replied and stated that Saints Row 1 and 2 remasters are basically impossible. So, it could be something big enough for them too be quiet about the subject.
I triggered the launch glich on accident when i tried to rob a train i was very unlucky i started getting mad then when i finally caught up to the train i got flinged up in the air then i saw the train go by as i stayed up in the air and then i raged quit
best glitch on this game was the zombies on multiplayer freeroam glitch and the one when if you had the zombie version you could do the godmode glitch on multiplayer
My favorite glitch was the flying fire bottle glitch so many great memories I was untouchable in multiplayer I would always be wanted and the entire lobby try to hunt me down but they couldn’t because I was outside the map on outfitter’s island 🏝️ and I couldn’t die because I did the god mode glitch as well in chupurasa it was a somewhat a complicated glitch to do u had to double tap L1 to fake throw the fire bottle while spamming L3 to look back while simultaneously switching to your throwing knives
@@hexagonalawareness3584no I never tried it out I did the invisible glitch u had to jump between a rock and a tree outside the map u had to put your horse in a barn so it wouldn’t escape than u can go in multiplayer matches and not be able to be seen
Was that really the sound he made in 1:45?? That didn't even sound like Marston!! I remember once when I was playing story mode, one of those nuns that walk up to you was walking in the sky at least 50 feet above Armadillo. Actually, she did that twice!!
Yo I had a glitch were I was on the train then this lady was just standing in the middle of the walk way and began to slide backwards out of the train without moving she was stiff. Then she just duplicated 10000 times and kept floating out of the train to a distance- then the train stopped or something and everything went back to normal. God I wish I got that on camera! It was so funny I was dying XD
I only have the undead nightmare version on ps3 and the manimals glitch happened to my copy........its very strange but the weirdest thing is seeing a snake on the ground with a mans head lol xD
This game was pretty well cut when it comes to bugs and glitches. The only thing I think u missed was a couple of places you can shoot out the window and jump in
I remember when I was going into a saloon I went to the musician playing the piano and Marston flew up into the sky and then fell and died. It was so Wierd.
Did you guys know a funny glitch where if John rides a horse and jumps off a cliff while holding a stick of dynamite that’s about to explode. When it explodes while John is in midair it’ll kill john and the horse, but the horse will fall and John will be still in midair LMFAO
2:47 I fell under the map like that but it was different it was near mcfarlene ranch and I beat the game my disc was scartched up bad so it was kinda broken so i'm jump while riding my horse and I was under the map but everything was pink under the map and there was a guy and I'm guessing his wife and son and daughter but they were clothed but had no faces so that creeped me out then my game froze so I just threw away the game I was pretty scared
