i dont understand how cw cgi department is this bad. they have way longer time and budget than those weekly japanese tokusatsu shows. yet the out come is way worse than those kid shows. kamen rider dragon ryuki came out in 2002. CW bought the rights and made kamen rider dragon knight in 2008, which then they used half the scenes from the original 2002 japanese show, and yet...the effects were worse than it...even tho CW had way bigger budget. Makes like 0 sense, unless they were all just laundring money or somesht, and didnt actually spend a dime on the effects. These look like they can be done by a lot of low budget content creators lol...like youtuber fan made short vids have better effects than these... its just sad

That was August Heart's phrase in the very first place. Too bad they didn't explore his brother's death like in the comics since this is why Heart became Godspeed in the first place, all the while announcing that he could become "judge, jury and executioner" upon revealing himself to Barry...

Exactly. I came up with an idea for it being Oliver. Specifically, a multiverse version of S1 Oliver(who became more brutal after his version of The Glades). He encounters Barry at some point, and realizes that he can be more effective with Barry's connection to the Speed force (in his Backstory, he and Barry had an else world's situation, where he first experienced the Speed force and got tempted by it). He hatched a plan to rob Barry of the Speedforce, becoming Red Death. As Red Death, he conducts a reign of terror throughout Star City and eventually Gotham. As for the Bat Symbol, he fought(and killed) an Armored Batwoman, who attempted to stop him. He takes that armor(and symbol) as a trophy, working it into his own suit.

As far as his overall plan, I'd make it where after he got freed by the new Captain Boomerang, he finds himself in a situation where he's slowly losing his own Speedforce connection. His goal would be to steal the speed of our Barry, so he can continue his work. As much as I liked the Reverse-Flashpoint storyline, I wish they hadn't gone with it. That would've been what I would've had my version of Oliver/Red Death try to pull off(as his own Speedforce connection is dwindling) using his plan to create a Cosmic Treadmill. The first half of the season would see Oliver/Red Death succeed, creating a timeline where he's the one who got Barry's speed(like Reverse Flashpoint), and the latter half would involve Barry/Team Flash trying to undo the changes brought on by Red Death.

That's the reason August became Godspeed above all, since he couldn't trust the justice system. That quote describes him the best : "I am judge, jury and executioner". Just saying, him being a mentor toward Nora and especially Bart would have made more sense, their relationship and possible friendship (akin to Hunter Zolomon asking Wally West to go back in time and fix that said unfortunate event that crippled him) descended to being nemesis since Bart would refuse to help August to find his brother's murderer.

I feel the Arrowverse ended at season 4 of Arrow, it was just pride and stupidity that kept it going. They never acknowledged killing off earth 1 Laurel Lance was a bad idea despite the major heat they received from fans to this day.

Really sad to see an actor with such little talent. Its no wonder the batgirl series slumped like it did. Its borderline unbearable to watch every time she has a line. Its not even just sometimes.
