Here's what I would have gone For the Rogues as Flash's side... - Captain Cold (as it is rather unclear if Snart is dead or not in the new timeline of Earth-Prime) - Gorilla Grodd - Heat Wave (since Mick has left the Legends) - Pied Piper As for the Red Death's Rogues... - Weather Wizard - Captain Boomerang II - Rainbow Raider - E-3 James Jesse/Trickster

Just in general, why couldn't we just have Rogues that we actually like from past seasons?

Yeah, if only I could say the same thing about the story, in my opinion it went downhill after season 3. There's been some cool episodes, but overall I think they're stories and villains aren't as exciting as they used to be.

And somehow red death still looks shit, zooms mask in S2 had you wonder if he was actually a monster or not meanwhile plastic 10 dollar power ranger helmet head can't emote even a little bit.

Not per se. Batwoman Red Death is just the villain for the first arc in the first 5 episodes. Then comes an interlude/filler with Iris and Dreamer from Supergirl doing an investigation plot (no idea if its just on episode 6 or also on 7) Then comes Bloodwork's return, and also Oliver, Diggle and Wally returning on episode 9. Then for the last three episodes, either Cobalt Blue or Thawne's origin and probably a rehash or new timeline of Season 1 (set photos showed Barry's parents alive, also Eddie, and episode 10 may be titled "New World" or something)

Barry and Ryan hardly know each other in the Arrowverse - let alone, there is no bond between them. For such an important villain that has been brought up multiple times across the Seasons, you'd think they'd choose a character that actually matters for Barry (like Oliver, who is literally going to be back for an episodic role in this Season). But since CW can't stand the fact that people disliked their Batwoman (Series), they try to push her more and more into our faces. From leaks we know that Red Death is meant to have some personal reason for hating Barry. But seeing as they chose a character that has hardly any connection with Allen, let alone any important relation - well I can't wait to hear what kind of an absolute BS they came up with...

Seriously tho - they made this Season shorter, and they basically wasted half the time in those 3 episodes. The Story needs a build-up before it escelates, but this is just stretching it so much, that it's just a background thing, instead of the main focus...

It’s batgirl the original red death in Dc metal was Batman who wanted the speed force and merged both himself and Barry using the cosmic treadmill and the Batmobile making red death and also when he ran he had bats surrounding him along the speed force. In the comics red death looked freaking badass!!! But seeing their own version of it they let down such a good character.
