I feel bad for all the Flash fans who stuck with this show. The final villain of the series is 1) a copy/ paste of Zoom from season 2, 2) a fanfic version of an already fanfic character from the comics and 3) the fastest man alive is still not the fastest man alive IN THE FINAL SEASON

I’m curious, what are they trying to go for with red death’s voice? Everytime I hear it I’m not intimidated what so ever, if anything I can’t help but role my eyes. But when you listen to zooms voice, something just clicks differently. I love it, I’m actually afraid of it, is it because it actually fits his look?

Exactly trying to copy the effect of Zoom's voice. But the issue is, with Zoom it worked because we didn't know who is behind that mask for a good chunk of the Season. And it worked even afterwards, because it just fit the character and the way he was written. With RD they are trying to force that effect, while completely ignoring why it worked before. Her voice change is essentially pointless and serves no purpose.

This would be super stupid to do, for a variety of reasons, reverse flash has already been played out far too much. Savitar was a fucking disgusting and pathetic attempt at an “evil speedster” now Zoom coming back would be cool, but he’s…kind of super dead, and was the avatar for…speedsters death. Not to mention this is literally the final season of the Flash, stupid to bring back all these people just to finish them off quickly in the season.

I hate seeing people talk about this, Oliver is already a superpowered person because of his sacrifice to save Barry and becoming a host for…specter? God I forget the name of the character…Anyways, point being…Oliver couldn’t be the Red Death because he already exists as a superpowered primal force, if anything it should’ve been Bruce Wayne. It would’ve shown where he’d been all this time, and elaborated on why he’d been gone. Hell I’d even take an alternate reality Bruce, like reverse flashpoints Bruce would’ve been acceptable too. Maybe he got to stick around because of his attachment to the speed force and because of that he didn’t fade out of existence when Barry fixed the timeline

I honestly don't like Ryan as Red Death, but since they couldn't use Bruce, if I were them I would of used Tommy Elliot. Since Tommy was already in Batwoman and has used Bruce Wayne's face they could of utilized that actor. How I would of done the story is after Tommy Elliot is arrested, his hatred for Bruce(Batman) and both Batwomen grows to a margin high enough that the negative speed force chooses him as it's next avatar. Using the face of Bruce Wayne, Tommy Elliot designs his Negative Speed Force suit after Batman and the flash. His goal being to Travel back in time and take Bruce Wayne's place in the Wayne family, but in order for that to happen he needs 2 things. 1st being a cosmic treadmill to go back in time, and 2nd for the Flash and Batwoman to be out of the picture.

Javicia Leslie is ruining the final season as the big bad. What are they thinking? Last week the "I am vengeance" shtick and this week that evil scream? FFS. It's like they've got someone from General Hospital directing/shooting these episodes. *sigh* I was hoping the last season would give us great acting and storyline. The Red Death story is great...but it's less menacing when the acting looks more like Scooby-Doo than DC Comics. Oh well, last season of Game of Thrones was dissapointing too...what can you do?
