BRILLIANT song! I ALWAYS loved how the over driven electric guitar, the notes it plays, gives the melody SUCH attitude and character. How, at one point, it ALMOST defiantly, and cockily, pitch bends just outside of the note it's meant to play, making it sound out of place, but it works SO well with its attituidous nature. I also love that deep bass line. Makes one think of the looming, endless depths of space.
One of the best theme tunes I think ever written. There are so many others I love but this one still makes me grin every time I hear it (probably for the 5,000th time).
I must have heard the theme several hundred times, easily, but never picked up on the vocorder "reeeeeddd dwaaaarrrffff" x4 before I, pardon the pun; "red" about it. The smeggy yet fantastic guitar rips mask it rather well, but now that I know it's there, it's clear as day. One of the best "easter eggs" ever found! Now shake off that Despair Ink, folks, there's a whole movie coming out this year! 8D -Sanguinarium

"I ask the court; would the Space Corps have allowed this man, this joke of a man, to be in a position where he would endanger the entire crew? A man of such awesome stupidity..."
I was amazed to find out that Jenna Russell who sings the brilliant closing theme took over from Susan Tully as Michelle Fowler in EastEnders. I had no idea.

Cat: "Okay. I say let's get into the jet-powered rocket pants and junior birdman the hell out of here!" Kryten: "An excellent and inventive suggestion, sir, with just two tiny drawbacks: a) We don't have any jet-powered rocket pants; and b) there's no such thing as jet-powered rocket pants outside the fictional serial "Robbie Rocket Pants."
MediEvilFan 147 I like both the original was more vast it represented how lonely the crew were in outer space then the new was fits with all a lot of the shenanigans
