RED-EYES BLACK DRAGON DECK PROFILE (FEBRUARY 2020) YUGIOH! 

So glad I acquired most of my red eyes before the price hikes, but I definitely feel the pain. I recently started looking into making a more up to date Blue Eyes deck.

@@Jaccard4 Oh man, that is tough, we seriously need another printing of Blue eyes alternative white dragon, outside of the DODs movie packs. I remember the money I had to shell out when making mine,

I just got done shelling out 190 for Galaxy Eyes, and that is without the Orbitals 😅

I have all 3 decks and it has been my goal to make them competitive, and well as Exodia and Harpies. And any other Duelist Kingdom decks they add new support for (Gate Guardians?) Red-Eyes (I use Secret OG art, Anniversary Pack which has the same pose as Flare Metal...really cool, and the JMP-002 dark Background...the green is cool, but isn't black and theme based and looks floaty and less realistic imo). I don't use the Fusions at all anymore, and just try to make a Guardragon Link Spam to end with Flare Metal, Darkness Metal, Aniversary Red-Eyes, multiple Fang With Chains, and weird techs like Ruins of the Divine Dragon Lords or Dragon's Bind. Maybe a Photon Lord (Galactic Spiral Dragon) or Neo Space Conductor to avoid or see things like Nibiru coming. I use lots of lv 7's to extend, like Tempest, DestrudoMight add Darkn Blue-Eyes is similar, but I actually use Apoloussa...strangely, I think Red-Eyes might be easier to use since Rokket Tracer/Synchron effects don't hurt the deck by locking you into DARK outside of Saryuja (Yazi/Mare Mare combo). Come MR5, both decks will change once again, but Blue-Eyes definitely has more put into it as I got my DDS's years ago. But...right now I'm thinking of moving my Apoloussa into: Harpies. The deck is quite explosive and I'm definitely looking forward to crushing tournaments soon. I recently discovered cards like Romulus and Imduk can turn Channeler into lv 7, so you don't need to run the bricks to MAX benefit from the new cards like Harpie Lady Rest or Perfumer (which can also search Egotist or Hunting Ground). The best part about it, is I've added techs like Swallow Flip to turn any Harpie into Channeler/Perfumer or on my opponent's turn Barrier Statue, and even better I discovered Inferno Reckless Summon works quite well with Harpie Lady 1, Cyber Harpies, and of course all of your Harpies in your GY, but possibly even more consistent with the OG MRD uncensored Harpie Lady (Yeah, I have 3 now.) Egotist (As well as Channeler, Romulus, Swallow's Nest, Divine Wind of the Mist Valley/Dancer, Hysteric Party, etc) can trigger Inferno Reckless Summon even under Hunting Ground, and because OG is a normal, Imduk allows Channeler to become lv 7 that much easier. Finally, I use an Exodia Lair deck that goes into Draw of Fate but also uses cards like Ojama Trio and Cosmic Compass to go into Saryuja and redo each turn with Legacy of the Duelist. I turn Destrudo plus the last token (which becomes Linkuriboh) into Beat Cop to protect Lair each turn too. Oh, almost forgot about Dark Magicians. I have everything except Souls and Dragun (obviously), but again I use random techs like Summoner Monk into Prisma/Clock Wyvern/Cyberse Clock Dragon. Seems kinda bad to just use my normal summon on Rod which I don't see enough, and Spellbooks kinda clashed or didn't do enough...Eye of Timaeus is still as good as ever, if not even better.

@@Goblin_Hands That is very impressive good sir, I would imagine over the years, blue eyes was probably the easiest? It has the best track record competitively and has the most potential. Also, maybe a try a going second variant of Blue eyes from here on out? Especially with the current meta with going second based decks being a lot more welcome.

@@chaz8652 baby red eyes are like 20 eur each, gearfried is around 8, same for the two fusions and the red eyes fang trap This deck is expensive for no reason

No need for that, just use Red-Eyes Insight and maybe Cards of the Red Stone.

@@scottmac786 Perhaps that's true, but you can only use 1 Black Stone effect per turn and that's one of the reasons why this deck sucks

@@ZeroTwoOne021 Of course, but it's still an effective searcher. The deck is good enough for casuals/locals in terms of consistency. very easy to make a 4800 beat stick.
