Awesome solo, I don't think RHCP could find any better replacement for John. Josh did follow them as 2nd guitar at some tour, went pretty well.

Frusciante is my personal Jesus, but you have to remember that the band has 4 members. Frusciante did a lot of good stuff to the chilis, so did Josh. The new album has some of my favourite rhcp tunes of all time. Nobody's forcing you to listen to this.

slane castle was one of the best performances i've ever seen from ANY artist. everybody was on their a-game, and john killed every solo. this solo by josh is really cool, but it really doesn't touch many of the solos john did. i think josh will get more comfortable with soloing over time, and i think he's a really talented guitarist. it will be quite a while until he gets up to john's level, though.

i really don't understand why everyone is saying this is the best cali solo or even an awesome solo, have you even heard Slane Castle? and as far as an awesome solo goes this was nothing i feel so little emotion coming from the band now that john isn't in it and i think anthony feels it too, he doesn't dance like he did with john

JorisGaming I hate it too but so much hinges on guitar playing in the chili peppers. Their guitar work with John was so unique and great it conquered the world. Take that part out and try to fill it again, and all the fans flip their shit. In my opinion, Josh is the perfect replacement.

John is not better than Josh. John is better at what he does and Josh is better at what Josh does. Despite being best friends and playing together all the time, they are very different

I believe that josh is good but he doesnt have the chemistry that john had with everyone so the solos arent as good and the jams arent as good because john knew what flea would do flea knew what john would do. Josh hasnt played with the band long enough to do that.

na minha opinião esse foi o melhor show que eles fizeram em 2011! Por quê ? Primeiro, o Anthony não está tão apático como no Rock in Rio 2011; Segundo, o som tá perfeito! Terceiro, nesse show o John Frusciante (um dos melhores guitarristas do mundo) parecia o Josh (um dos piores, mas que nesse show tava mt bom) desfarçado! Quarto, Flea (o melhor baixista do mundo) como sempre IMPECÁVEL! Quinto, Chad (um dos melhores bateristas do mundo) mt bem, pra variar! E sexto, O mau Refosco bem na percussão
