Marcelo Corrales don't get me wrong there are tons of RHCP songs before him that are amazing and will stand the test of time which is hard to do these days. but Josh brought something out of Flea and Chad musically that they just never tapped into before. the music is so circular not to mention the vocals seem to fit that same smooth circular feel as the music, unlike some older songs that almost seemed so chaotic that it was amazing the songs were so good and didn't fall apart. Josh knows how to do more than play reggae chords but still let Flea and Chad drive the music. RHCP have always been an amazing band but I truly believe that they are in the discussion for one of the bests ever now. would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Josh was always in the band.

The rhythm section of RHCP is amazing, it can save a song even with a bad guitar! And in this album the guitar is amazing, it harmonizes perfectly with the bass and drums

Except the fact is Flea carried this song more and the tune is more defined by Flea's funky bass riff. Josh is an excellent guitarist, but the point is John defined RHCP. That's why people won't give him a chance. I am though, but still not really feeling it. He's sticking to playing the exact same riffs, to the letter, live. Instead, he should be working with some improvisation here and there when he plays live. It is under-rated, just has nothing to do with Josh's playing.

I ♡ Anthony Kiedis but he's messing up and forgetting the lyrics 2 his songs so much that it makes me wonder if he is back on drugs or if he is having senior moments now that he's going to be 50years old in 2 months. At the beginning there is the obvious mess up where U can't hear him, and then at 0:55 he starts to get it wrong again and sings "Factually I, the very least of it Take you by my side, is just a medicine" Instead of "Factually I, the very least of it Factually I, is just a medicine"
