Josh is a great guitarrist, i have so much hope on him, and if u listen very well the album of "Im With You" u realize that the guitar sounds kinda John in his starts at RHCP, with a sounds not so "define" So, my forecast/POV (not porn) is than the next album with Josh is going to be a Kickass Album! Also, Chad Smith, the member who keeps the band together! #LongLifeToChad

I'm just about tired of people hating on Josh. Yes, we all miss John, but he's more than likely never coming back, he's moved on. If you really respected rhcp, then you would respect Josh as well, he's brought a new and different sound and feel to the band, and apparently that hasn't sunk in for some of you yet.

It's not the one frusciante uses live like on slane castle, its a different 1967 telecaster. john's main tele is from 1963.

The difference that John makes is incredible. Chili Peppers were my favorite band, but without him there just average. Go watch this song played at Slane Castle and try and tell me they will ever be as good as they were with John.

Okay. Josh can't ever become one of the best if no-one gives him a chance. If you listen to Josh he's fucking GREAT, a very fitting replacement. It's people like you who don't give him a chance to become a great that will inhibit his growth as his own artist. If you keep comparing the two he will try to mould himself into John.

No one will ever do what frusciante did for the chili peppers, as john couldn't do what hillel did, or navarro couldn't what john and viceversa, and every possible combination you can imagine. They are all different (and in my opinion awesome) musicians, and it's the chili peppers's choice who they are playing with. If i were you guys, i'd just listen to the music and enjoy it if i like it, and if not, well listen to the old stuff, just listen to whatever you want to and be happy! IHateYouAll

I undersatnd y people say bad things about josh but this song is created by old rhcp( with John) and John's vocal suited really well in this song but Josh isn't John, he is a very different guitarist/singer from John therefore he can't be John but ,without Josh, songs like look around, monarchy of roses, long progression and etc would not exist. Also, i personally think because of Josh rhcp is developing, im not saying Josh is better than John, because he has lived in different world and young

Considering Josh had to learn this song and a gajillion other Chili Peppers song(some not being easy on guitar) as well as learning the backup vocals while playing makes me believe that Josh was a perfect replacement for John,if they got another guitarist,I guarentee he wouldn't do backup for crap.
