He's not a bad singer nowadays. Gives me hope lol with practice and some coaching this proves that anyone can learn to sing. I didn't realize he sang at all on the bridge. Thought it was all Fru
and autotune* (I'm a huge fan but also a sound engineer, so I hear that ;) not a problem though, melodies are the most important, I don't a give a single shit if he needs help to sing well)
@@ImotapeProductions people like this autotune sound, and I'm pretty sure he could sing without autotune, it's just that this autotuned sharp tone fit better with the melody of the song and it's totally fine!
this does sound a lot less tuned than the vocals on californication and by the way. He's differently improved. There is definitely still autotune in quite a few places (especially the bridge) but who cares. it's about the expression when it comes down to it.

@@arthurdent6828 his timbre is good and its just slightly pitch correction, which everybody uses in the studio. I think his voice is good, but live he sings with too much strain and miss some notes, which is not that much of a problem in my opinion. I mean listen to todays music where everbody use full autotune and dont even sing live. He equals his "poor" singing in live version, with his passion and energy.
@@arthurdent6828 man are you a hater of Kiedis? I just watched three solo vocal videos and in all three you're responding to most of the comments criticizing Kiedis's voice to people who like it, do you have a problem?
@@leoynadamas7227 Yep, I totally have an issue with people exaggerating how good AK is, especially when it comes to RHCP's output over the last 20 years. It's fucking garbage compared to how good it was in the 80's and 90's. He's gotten worse since he thought he learnt to sing and made some of my favorite musicians un-listenable. I'm not alone, most fans of their first 6 albums agree. His limited voice just doesn't suit actual singing.. The first 6 are almost flawless, although the self titled is a tad weak. Californication would be better if kiedis kept his mouth shut and it's all downhill from there..
