I luv watching every rhcp concert I find with john frusciante because every song is different everytime. And it's not just bc of john. They improvise so well with each other that every concert has it's own amazing feel. It's never the same and is special in it's own way. The only band that never has played music just to make people happy. If it doesn't make them happy they wouldn't play. And this one was absolutely incredible. They have had some other good guitar players but the connection that john, flea, Chad, and anthony has is just so orgasmic. I can watch them play the same song from show to show and each time it's different then the last and amazing in it's own right
@Ali Hi there, I did get two ViP Passes from WEA records (Warner Music Group)....and I still have them. The concert was in the City Center of Hamburg, on top of the Saturn Electronis building. It was an exclusive promotion gig. Happy New Year!
This show was three days before the release of by the way. The crowd didn’t know what hit them when can’t stop started. This was the month that basically sealed the boys as one of the top bands of all time. their come back was epic, then they turned around and proved they had something nobody expected
13:40 love him or hate him anthony is lowkey hilarious and a good gel between some of the crazy/weird/awkward things flea and john might say and the audience. Great stage performer/entertainer is Anthony
I love this concert so much. This concert for me is special! Don't know how to decribe. I was going in High School, when I was buy it on the CD, in the center of Prague, on an excursion... peppers forever
This is the very concert I fell in love with John- I was 15y old then and watched the concert at german television. Frusciante is one of the greatest musicians ever imo! I do also recommend watching the show in Stockholm of 1999- incredible!
@@ChMilos i remember recording Live MTV special stream from Moscow 99 on video cassette... i feel like a real chili peppers family member from that day.
@@ivansindicic5960that show was really special! I watched it live around 1 or 2 am here in MN, United States. I was probably around 15 and was just learning guitar. Easily and Around The World were really relevant songs to Moscow. "The story of a woman on a morning of a war" and "Mother Russia do not suffe, I know you're bold enough, I've been around the world and I have seen your love"
Well he gets in a vibe for a season and goes with it and then whatever funky mood he feels the next year he reflects it showing in his appearance, songs etc. I mean when your best buddies with flea who wouldn't. They are both very artistic that's a fact. I love their music and their vibes.
Oh thank you so much for putting the whole concert up on youtube!!! I was looking for it for ages!! I had a copy of it years ago.... You made my day, absolutely :-) And thank you RHCP :-)

Strike Thunder Demon Gaming pretty sure you read the date backwards. In the US the month comes before the day, meaning the 6th of July. It makes more sense like that. After all, several of the songs played on this day make up the majority of the album lol.
This is great I love them but who ever was doing the camera was not focusing at all on John and he plays an awesome guitar!! I met them all and John was awesome they all are !ty for making my life livable!!💕✌️✌️✌️❤️❤️❤️✌️✌️✌️✌️😎✌️✌️
He sing for the first time of the concert, he doesn't heard him in his system, so he ask to his sound engineer to increase his voice. Sorry for my bad English ;)
@@damesoumbi well everyone in the comments is saying that Germans are a really bad audience but people should also know that Anthony has in-ear monitors where he hears his voice so it's ALLOT easier to not sing flat
Reverb. But what actually makes that sound so awesome is that he's turning off his volume, playing the note, and right after, turning the volume up again. Repeat that for each note, and there you have it :)
@@canallendasdoautomobilismo2634 ah, thanks, I recently realized that dee dee was the ground zero, epicenter of puck rock. sid vicious took up bass to be like dee dee, that kind of says it all....
