Idk it was great but did you see the alterego fest where they opened w/the jame into Fake as F@@k which has my vote so far. Also actually played a Fugazi song for the intro in one of the Europe songs.
Every show, they do an intro, "jam" no particular song, they just improvise off of each other in a certain key...Unless you mean the actual 1st song which is called, "Can't Stop"
Ticketmaster dropped prices significantly the week of the event, normies picked up the many available seats and this is the result. It was a crowd that really only made noise for can't stop and give it away. Utter silence thru wet sand and Eddie 😂
@@Zenthils well I didn't realize the extent. Didn't think people who only knew a few rhcp songs would bother paying to see them live lmao, but I guess everyone's just looking for "something to do tonight". To me I never realised how many highly casual fans they had ("bro can't stop is a banger!") because I've been ultra obsessed with rhcp since I was a child and know their songs inside out. Just assumed everyone who at least bothered going to a show would be the same... Would make for a hype environment
What's with that ominous intro music that plays before anyone gets on stage? Is this new for the tour? It's awesome, really set the stage and anticipation. Needless to say I had chills throughout this intro jam and was smiling the hardest I have probably ever in my life! From pure giddyness and excitement. I'll never forget this intro and the feelings it conjured, just washed over in that raw wall of sound. Used to seeing these boys on RU-vid concert vids for my entire life and now seeing them in person, especially John was insane.
I saw them in Toronto in August and there was no music, just jamming. I find the music is a bit much considering RHCP music is not that serious unlike Metallica for example
@@jd0879 I didn't mind it at all. Good way to draw everyone's attention and you could feel the tension in the room when the blue lights came on with the music.
From this view audience weren't hyped. But up the rafters we were almost always standing!!! Host guy had to remind people to stay away from aisles!! :D
