I flew from India just for this concert.. I’m so grateful that I chose London to see them live for the first time.. Could not have asked for a night more magical than this
Absolutely amazing guitarists, most bands have 2 or 3 guitarists, The RHCP's only have one..... John can cover it all.... He's mile's better than Hendrix, imo.
@@charliepayne9248 look, i love the Froosh....but its literally an objective truth that Hendrix is better than him. Hendrix was the master of filling gaps with noodling and building a canvas of atmopheric sounds. Froosh tends to play in key 98% of the time and tends to also stick to pentatonic and triad paterns. Nothing wrong with it coz he uses it like a boss, but the better player will always be Hendrix.
@@Tqoratsos666 it’s a very subjective thing. Not saying you’re wrong. There is no right or wrong in “best” when it comes to music. I wouldn’t agree with you though. That may be true with the chili peppers more mainstream stuff (about his playing keeping around pentatonic and within key - though Hendrix did that a lot too) but as a solo artist he doesn’t do that so much. Even though he’s a standout player in the chili peppers he’s not a jazzy player with them but that’s not what he tries to be with them. Hes gotten his more experimental/jazzy side out on other projects.
@@charliepayne9248 it sure was. There aren't enough words to describe it. I've been to see lots of concerts and was at live aid but the atmosphere and the band. It was jus Perfect. X
Just got home after going to this gig. What a fucking champ John is. So good to finally see the best line up do their thing. Flea was magic talking to the crowd too throughout. What a magical show
i dont know about that but it was epic! his tone seems super high-mid heavy like he's stacking the fuzzrite and ds2 again! but it could juts be the camera
I think every song was amazing. Especially universally speaking. So glad frusciante was back. I wouldn't of gone if he wasn't in it. To me he is red hot chilli peppers. Without him. Not as good xx huge fan x. Shame he doesn't have social media x
It amazed me that it wasn't just the girls shouting for frusciante, all the guys were too. There's just something very special about him. He has a soft soul and as talented as he is he doesn't look down on people or thinks he's something special. Even though he is very special he comes across like the guy next door. You never read or hear anything bad about him. When he smiles I want to smile. Whatever it is he's got it. Im so glad hes back and i hope hes happy been back xx I don't care when but I do hope they tour again because I want to experience it all again. It was the best time xx
There's no words to describe the talent of these 4 individuals, whether it is 1989 or 2022. I seen them live in 2006 I think before frusciante left the last time. Ive been to a lot of live shows.. That concert changed my life. You can't get much better than these 4 on the stage
I would have loved to see them play Here Ever After from the new album cos that sounds almost classic Peppers. I’m glad Frusciante is back (for as long as he might be) cos nobody can replace him really. The man is a guitar god!
It took us 5 hours to get to this gig......! Incredible concert, worth the wait, the money & being stuck in traffic for hours..... The greatest band there ever was & an absolute privilege to see & witness these 4 outstanding musicians in their element. The Heavy Wing was my favourite song that was performed, absolutely beautiful....!
For me second gig, but I'm even more excited now... read the books, listened to hundreds of Interviews, loved them for over 20 years now... Which songs would you like to hear in Cologne?
@@marythecat4182 hard too tell alot of songs :P. but , throw away your television,The Zephyr Song,Soul To Squeeze, weird like me,Here Ever After (my fav UL song),Wet Sand
@@jeffpcfreak hmmm.. knock me down, soul to squeeze, Sir psycho sexy, torture me, storm in a teacup, velvet glove, parallel universe. .. and a lot from UL! I also love OHM, I'm pretty much the only one. 😉 And solo cover songs from John, of course :-)
This was the only song we didn't hear in Chicago that I was really excited for. Was still an epic night and one I'll never forget.... Seeing this though makes me a little jealous still
Always a pleasure to see John back in the band! Here Red Hot's first show after John Frusciante's first return in the band ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6fLL8jEgvZI.html
I remember I saw them play this in concert with Josh and I almost cried when I heard him play the solo because it was just so much distortion and not the crisp sound that John plays in the solo. It’s such a blessing he fought his demons and came back
as much as i love john, i wish he would except that the BAND did music without him, refuses to play josh stuff, refuses to play navarro stuff. quite sad.
