The crowd doesn't suck actually. They are playing a "new song" from the record that was coming out like 3 weeks after this concert. The people here are just amazed by the new material, which actually won them a Grammy ;)
John looks healty and sounds famtastic!! Hard to believe he pulled through his Addiction Thank u John for your stellar music with the RHCP & Solo Move forward and never look back you are SO GIFTED & a BEAUTIFUL SPIRIT ❤❤❤❤
Damn! I love John!!! I would love to see him live.... I adore Josh. He´s amazing. Ev´ry time I see him rocking his heart out I think he´s the only one who could fill Johns´ feet. And they´re huge! I think John is proud of Josh!
Josh is amazing. But he stands in shoes no one but John can fill for me. 11 years since he left and I still miss him and get a thrill every time I hear him pick up a strat. Hoping against hope one day he rejoins them, as it is a huge regret that I missed my chance to see him play live and hear his voice in person. No one conveys feelings through a guitar like John does in my book. Musicality is off the chart for me.
I always felt this sense of mourning about John's departure. Now I kinda feel it for Josh, "I wish I could have created a musical language the way John and Flea do together. I wish I could have done something to make me indispensable."
I think Anthony was telling John good luck and relax on playing the intro. There's a video of them rehearsing snow and john was having trouble getting the timing right. It's a complicated little riff!
@@LeoLucas360 he has a problem during the tour But not for playing the riff But because on of his pedals didn't work right. it's the video when he was upset by a sign of a fan
IMHO the public is not dead, bored or smth. Everybody is just amazed as fuck to see RHCP playing live, so the people are standing still to enjoy every single note played that night. IDK but I would stay the same way if I was there.
@@jennasittler3142 Amazing Frusciante made it through his years fueled by Heroin & Cocaine He was in really bad shape and looked like Death. He supposedly gave River Phoenix the legal concoction (Heroin and coke speedball) that took his life. John must have been trying to deaden the guilt by almost doing himself in .
They come from every state to find Some dreams were meant to be declined Tell the man what did you have in mind What have you come to do? No turning water into wine No learning while you're in the line I'll take you to the broken sign You see these lights are blue Come and get it Lost it at the city limit Say goodbye 'Cause they will find a way to trim it Everybody Lookin' for a silly gimmick Gotta get away Can't take it for another minute This town is made of many things Just look at what the current brings So high, it's only promising This place was made on you Tell me, baby, what's your story Where you come from And where you wanna go this time? Tell me, lover, are you lonely? The thing we need is Never all that hard to find Tell me, baby, what's your story Where do you come from And where you wanna go this time? You're so lovely, are you lonely? Giving up on the innocence you left behind Some claim to have the fortitude Too shrewd to blow the interlude Sustaining pain to set a mood Step out to be renewed I'll move you like a baritone Jungle brothers on the microphone Getting over with an undertone It's time to turn to stone Chitty chitty, baby When your nose is in the nitty gritty Life could be a little sweet But life could be a little shitty What a pity Boston and a Kansas city Looking for a hundred But you only ever found a fitty Three fingers in the honeycomb You ring just like a xylophone Devoted to the chromosome The day that you left home Tell me, baby, what's your story Where you come from And where you wanna go this time? Tell me, lover, are you lonely? The thing we need is Never all that hard to find Tell me, baby, what's your story Where you come from And where you wanna go this time? You're so lovely, are you lonely? Giving up on the innocence you left behind Tell me, baby, what's your story Where you come from And where you wanna go this time? Tell me, lover, are you lonely? The thing we need is Never all that hard to find Tell me, baby, what's your story Where you come from And where you wanna go this time? You're so lovely, are you lonely? Giving up on the innocence you left behind
For everyone wondering why the crowd is dead... It is because this performance is from Top Of The Pops, which is a UK TV show that showcases the top artists (In the charts) The crowd is not allowed to go crazy because it is basically a TV show and is in a controlled environment.
Someone also commented that this performance was a few weeks before the release of their album so these were actually new material people havent heard before.
What a load of shit. The reason the crowd are dead during certain songs is because it was promo for the Stadium Arcadium album that hadn't been released yet. Dani California had just been released as a single hence that being the only album track people responded too, this was the first time the crowd had ever heard Snow or Tell Me Baby.
I absolutely love this song and I always listen to it when I'm shooting coke and also tell me baby. I haveta hear those two songs cause it's likea ritual. I'm going to see em live when they come to philly next time. My girlfriend Elise is in snows video at 2:43 on the left. I don't know how she gots that but I'm sooo jealous of her.
Los chili peppers estaban introduciendo nueva musica de su álbum que salio poco despues de esta presentación so nadie en el publico se iba a saber estas canciones
