Stop attacking Josh. He does a pretty damn good job at this song and adds his own spin on it. He isn't there to replace John, but to take his place as their guitarist.

You guys need to leave Josh Klinghoffer alone. I feel you guys, John Frusciante has built the Chili Peppers legacy and is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. It was sad to see him leave after giving us and his bandmates so many amazing gifts. He is responsible for composing some of the greatest Chili Peppers songs like "Under the Bridge" and "Californication". Songs which are catchy, melodic and beautiful. They will forever be cemented in our heads. He helped bring the Chili Peppers into the mainstream where they became one of the most influential bands in the world. It was no question that his successors would have big shoes to fill. Josh has done an amazing job with his contributions to "I'm With You" and upcoming Chili Peppers releases. When playing Frusciante's songs live, I particularly enjoy his performance as he adds his own unique style. Additonally, him and John were friends so Josh has been able to learn from one of the greats and use Frusciante's wisdom and teachings in developing his own style. John has parted ways with the Chili Peppers and we have to accept that. Furthermore, we must also come to appreciate Josh more as he is an amazing musician. Us as Red Hot Chili Peppers fans are lucky to have him on guitar keeping the funky flavors of the Chili Peppers alive.

I wondered how well he would do playing some of their older songs. I myself have been playing this song on guitar for the last 5 or 6 years and have an ear for the riffs. It's not played the same as John and I doubt he's trying to make it sound exactly the same, just enough to sound like it. Improvising is, after all, a Red Hot Chili Pepper thing to do and he does one Hell of a job adding his own personality to it. He's an amazing guitarist and an outstanding singer, and I give him thumbs up!

I hate to see people complain about Josh. John left nearly 10 years ago. That's a long while and I really think I'm With You is an amazing album. Josh was the only person that the band was comfortable having when John left.

I prefer Frusciante is more of a classic old school bluesy guitarist and sings much better but JK does a very good job...it's not his fault if Frusciante left....

Josh is deforming the tempo and the essence of the song. Sorry but, I say NO. He isn´t a bad performer, and it´s a good thing to put your own style and arrangements, but not at that edge.

Josh is a good guitarist, veeeery good. But John's licks during the song, and his voice, are simply amazing and missing. And yeah I don't like the new album. So yeah Josh is a great player but just they are not the rhcp that I loved with BSSM and Mother's Milk, and as ofc they are not the rhcp from Slovak.
