@@CHICKEN_Lord617spitballing here but it may be because of Ford’s relationship with Disney (Star Wars & Indiana Jones) so it’s a guy they can put their trust in plus Ford’s still a recognizable name despite his age. So it could just be Disney taking a more efficient route with their casting.

Really excited to see how this movie will play out since it seems like they are bringing in some people and elements from the incredible hulk movie. Which marvel/Disney hasn't really acknowledged since the breakup with Norton
