That's a very important question.

These birds aren't true to any of the 5 subspecies. Compared with what they had before, I will admit there is an increase in quality though. I suspect hybrid birds with higher purity were incorporated into their original stock.

Appears to have all desirable characteristics of wild red jungle fowl bred out. Interesting how that would cause you to anticipate purity in the bloodlines. They’re on the wrong side of the planet to reliably source you true red jungle fowl, your best bet is to head to Saigon.

these are not red jungle fowl, they're probably only 5% bloodline... good red jungle fowl should have only 4 short sickles, 2 long sickles tails should be a fan shape and downward... these are more of regular domesticated rooster only..

​@@dablaugntximntxub2318there's a thousand different subspecies and strains of red junglefowl from India to China to Vietnam. You shouldn't assume all red junglefowl exhibit the same traits
