I used this recipe just exactly like in this video. Balls flattened out like a thin pancake and was so salty I couldn't eat them. Trash can material. Cool video. The recipe just doesn't work.

You had to have missed an ingredient - a ball of sausage shouldn't ever cook into something flat.
