@@Shashank7170 Yes, indeed, they barely talked. But they do have a lot in common. Also, Shinobu is most likely the only person among the Hashiras that Giyuu actually talks to cordially. They also wear their loved ones' haoris, and both of them considered themselves weak, believe it or not, and have their own ways of covering their pain, and their personalities changed over time... I can just list out tons of reasons why they fit, together. But honestly, putting shipping aside, Giyuu and Shinobu definitely considered the other person their friend, even if they didn't realize it or even denied it. I mean, Giyuu did react to Shinobu's death more emotionally then the other Hashiras', or that's what I read (No offense). But yeah, I'm a huge GiyuShino Shipper! But with or without shipping, these two definitely had a closer relationship than they thought they had.
Giyu longingly looks at the butterfly, btw butterfly represents human soul in our country. Thus, Giyu misses someone who passed away and Shinobu beside Giyu represents her presence along with the butterfly even in the afterlife still looking after the one she loved. Just my fanfic opinion. Although they might bicker a lot, I can see that these two care about each other very much. I don’t think they are in love or something like that, I feel their relationship is platonic. I saw a comment theorizing the picture and I can agree for the most part. The butterfly Giyuu is gazing at represents Shinobu. He knows his friend is watching over him and the other pillars, blessing them from up above. I feel like whenever a pillar dies, the others would fight not just for themselves anymore, it was also for their dead friends. That is why Shinobu looked so gentle, as if she is reassured.

@@ss...7208 The thing I hate in the series is when they show what is gonna happen to the characters when they die. For me the author just seems to use it all the time just for the sake that the fandom would just at least be satisfied knowing that he/she would kill many characters that we love..

@@mpred8606 yeah i agree we cant forget that these demons slayers are prepared to die at all times and they will sacrafice their own life if it means defeating a demon or protecting innocent people. They are humans fighting against very powerful demons afterall death really is a high possibility in that world and very realistic. If we were to have every slayer someone how unlock a power within themselves and somehow go against all odds and win it just woupdnt be as interesting and you wouldnt really get so attached to the character or fear for their lives when they are in danger since you already know they are going to survive somehow. By adding the death of characters tge reader is left in suspense wondering if the character they love will actually come out alive. Its brilliant in my opinion

I didn't want to watch Demon Slayer because I got spoiled of the death and I had fallen in love with her at first sight. I got so spoiled that I had no choice but to read the manga in pain because once again, my favourite died.
This is bad for the heart... listening to this hurts... Poor Giyuu... Spoiler: I wanted Shinobu to stay alive... but she isn't so this hurts... I feel like Giyuu will join her soon tho ;-;
About the art background, Giyuu is so perfect. But Shinobu hair is not like that. Shinobu has like.. kinda wavy hair. But not too wavy. Yeah she has straight hair like her sister, but her hair is kinda wavy. That's why the creator draw her hair like that. And where is her blue hair in the tip?
I would argue that Shinobu's design looks better like this. I'm also not a fan of the frosted colour tips in the show. Regardless, every artist is allowed some degree of interpretation in their work.

This song has hit me harder since the passing of my friend and she was someone who always encouraged me to be strong when I was feeling weak and defeated all the while she had her own burden to carry. And no I have to carry that burden for her and be strong for her RIP. Ik I couldn't do anything, but I still feel like a failure.
