The most dangerous thing about the modern age is how all time pieces have gone digital, so it's become much harder to notice when the worldline gets fucked up
@@colinz226 There really isn't a way to tell when the wotlf line is fucked until its too late. Just got to cross your fingers and hope we are on the Steins;gate world line. If there even is one, with the amount of ways the world can be fucked, I doubt it lmao.

listen i took the time to watch the whole thing and it is VERY overhyped. characters are hella boring and the plot is weird. and it starts getting better legit when you're halfway through it. i reccomend aot or jojo.
I really wish that I could erase my memory of this anime so that I could watch it again for the first time. The thrill, excitement, emotions were unmatched.
I felt exactly this same will of discovering this anime again for a first time after finishing it, surely one of the best or the best anime I ever saw !
I wish that I could erase Steins;Gate 0, both the VN and anime, from my memory because it was a gigantic disappointment that tarnished the legacy of Steins;Gate.
When I first watched Attack on Titan, I said “can a show get any more perfect than this?”After watching Steins Gate and Steins Gate 0, I now have my answer. This is truly the greatest anime of all time.
@@umbrella3096 i love the build up. It's not just suddent it was very well thought out. Starting with the potential the time machine could do, to just a bunch of kids playing around with a time leap messaging machine, to hesitating that it's probably dangerous to realizing they probably stepped into something extremely dangerous to shifting their whole world upside down.
Reading the visual novel really makes the twist a lot better imo. I kept needing to stop reading because of how cringy Okabe was at times. It also felt kinda slow, but it was interesting enough to keep me reading. Then the twist happened, and I was suddenly glued to my Vita! No more unnecessary breaks! The anime does the twist well, and it's my favorite way to experience the story again, but the first half doesn't last as long (in the VN, the first half took me about 2 weeks to finish) so it doesn't have as big of an impact as the VN.
@@Valcuda Imagine how the people that thought the anime's begging was slow would have felt playing the visual novel?Or if white fox had choose to make the anime in 48 episodes instead of 24.🤣🤣 Even so,I still love the anime and I really like how they adapt it.
I feel sorry for all my friends who can't handle slow build-up titles. They will never taste the bittersweetness of this masterpiece. On the other hand, I feel pain because I can't share this experience with them.
I genuinely find those people dumb who don't understand what makes a story good. Anime is a story-telling medium and has told us some of the best stories in TV media history. They like watching shows where there are things blowing up every 2 seconds to satisfy their inflated dopamine receptors @@lokrj
@@alizaka1467I mean most of them are probably teens, so it makes sense they prefer battle shounens, I did until like, 2 years ago? Then I stopped watching anime because Battle Shounen were getting pretty boring and other life problems, etc... what made me love anime again one year ago were shows like Monogatari, Bocchi, Non Non Biyori, etc. Finally, I decided to read Steins;Gate VN and then watch the anime, amazing experiences ( even though I don't think they are masterpieces ). I've yet to see some action focused anime since I came back to it ( my favorite action anime is probably OPM because of the comedy ), the closest I got was mushoku tensei. I think in the end most people after growing prefer shows like Steins;Gate, battle shounens are good for entertainment and some wholesome stories that kids love, they're pretty easy to watch and can be more meaningful to a kid than things that are deeper.
nah fr cause even i was sleeping onto this anime but then i finally decided to finish it and now i wish if only i could watch it for the first time again
It is a crime not to listen to this every once in awhile. I remember being so empty after watching this that I had to listen to audio recordings that some guys back in the day translated, dunno what u call them, i forgot. But I used to listen to them just so I know how they do after the events in steins gate. Its insane how attached I got to the characters in this anime. What a memorable masterpiece
@@saqibhasan7618 nah man I thought I wasn't going to skip at the start but the plot got so good I couldn't wait for it lol The urge to skip is even stronger if you binge 10 episodes In each sitting

@@nikolas4786 I don't think so. I'm not trying to justify her, but she's some kind of victim here too. Also in S;G 0 she fights on Okabe's side. She also got about the same screen time as, for example, Faris (forgive me if I'm wrong, I hasn't watched anime but only played VN)
@@nikolas4786 I also think that if making Moeka hated by most of readers was originally creator's target, then maybe she's actually good as character (not good as person)
I haven't seen this anime in years , but this still gives me chills lol . That shit was unexpected as fuck . Went into anime completely blind, i thought this might be some generic slice of life , but damn it hit like a truck . First 12 episodes were never boring, they were needed.
I will come back in 2030, wish me luck... El. Psy. Kongroo. Edit: The day is 1.1.2021, We're now out of the worst welcome to a new decade, But I suspect that the challenge truly starts here.

I'm currently showing it to my friend, and he doesn't like slow burns so i told him the first part of the anime is "fuck around" and the rest is "find out" 😂
I just finished steins;gate and steins;gate 0 and I am actually so lost. All I can do is come back to this song every day and cry. You know the anime is good when it's over you feel like you're leaving a close friend behind in another world line. Edit: where did all you time travellers come from? I close my eyes for six months wake up and see all of you here. The universe is magnetic. Thanks for stopping by.
People tossing around the word "Peak" a lot for all of this new anime and media, but they don't realize the word "Peak" was invented to describe Steins;Gate.

I'm rewatching Steins;Gate today after ages, and it's hitting me right in the feels. The opening theme? Pure nostalgia. I've got goosebumps and this mix of excitement and warmth. It's like meeting an old friend after years.
When you're stuck in quarantine for 1 month so you invented a time machine to 2 weeks ago before the quarantine happens so you could go to computer shop and download Steins Gate 0
I'll come back to this in the near future and all the nostalgia will come flooding back. Thank you White Fox for making such a masterpiece into an anime, and of course thanks to the authors of the VN's. El Psy Congroo.
@@user-Jay178 If you have a lot of time to spare, I can't pressure you enough to play the Visual Novel. Lots of contents there that's not in the anime.
Started this on July 4, 2022 and finished it 4 days later. Never in my life I ever had a movie, cartoon, or anime that did me empty inside. This masterpiece got me hooked so bad that I had to repeat everything twice while binge watching. Like imagine typing all of this while looping this entire music theme video. One enough reason why I love this god-tier anime is because we, the audience, are the only people who can both sympathize and empathize with our mad scientist. To be able to watch and see what he's been through while suffering numerous times in the process makes you just wanna hop inside your monitor, hug him tightly, and tell him that we know everything he's been through. Imagine what would his reaction be haha, he'd probably explode although it'll cause another world line to be formed then he'll overwrite the Okabe there like woah no matter what we do, there's still an impact even if we're from the Real World line (yeah I made it up, now shut up). Help, this raised my standards now when it comes to finding new anime to binge watch. I'm lucky this wasn't my first anime or else I'd find every other anime mid. EL. PSY. KONGROO. EDIT: I SAW THE VIDEO OF THE OPENING COMPARISON BETWEEN OPENING 1 AND OPENING 2 OF STEINS;GATE. THEY SHOULD STOP 😭 THEY NEVER MISS FK.
I watched this about as year ago, and it is truly one of the best shows, not just anime, Ive ever seen. YOu watch Okabe suffering trying to save his childhood friend... only to realize he cant save the woman he fell in love with. It breaks you a little inside. One of a small handful of times I weas brought to tears by a tv show.
Want to feel even better/worse? Play the visual novel. There's 6/7 different endings and a game has never ever made me cry more. It was so worth it! It's available on Steam and PS4
This whole series made me realize how alone I was. I looked at the lab members as if they were friends and I was hanging out with them. It felt like they were a second family. Truly sad to see them suffer, especially Okabe
@@TyreeseTheAscendedOne Funny how some anime characters make you feel like you're a part of them, huh? What's funnier is that these fictional characters are truer than most of your so-called real life 'friends'. :>
stein” is the German word for “stone” in the term “stone of destiny”. Similarly, “gate” is an alternate word for “doorway”. “Stein's gate” itself is a pseudo-term created by Okabe as part of his delusions of grandeur and has no actual meaning in the real world.

Saw her perform it live during a summer festival in Nakano in summer of 2022, on my 2nd day in Japan. You cant comprehend what a beautiful moment that was
I cannot stop listening to it. I just finished the show... I feel way too empty. At least, a happy ending has been reached, thanks to the choice of the Stein's gate. I'm not a big anime guy, but that masterpiece will never leave my mind... Thank you Okaba for your suffering and rest in peace. I hope that you are happy with both Mayushi and Christina smiling by your side.
I love this art style. Just to focus on one character, it makes Okabe look like this cool, tall attractive anime character that basically all the girls chase after. He got the long dark hair, but it isn't messy, eyes that seem to look right through you. Wears a stylish suit that.. suits him. He's a little on the darker side, but not edgy. Still mature and pretty grounded. Aloof. Not your average bright and shiny-attractive anime character. I can't explain it in a better way. I feel like there are better words, though I don't have em. Hopefully that's good enough. At least if no one disagrees, then that's what counts? People know what I'm talking about, anyways right? xD
the artstyle is good, but damn i find it really weird for Okabe , Daru and Ruka, they look handsome , which they aren't supposed to be clearly given they're not the typical members of the society (Ruka being so afraid of anything especially) but it's well drawn and nice to see overall
I feel as if Okabe is a little too detailed, i think if they had skipped out on stuff like the slight facial hair or colour in his mouth then it might have looked a bit better. But damn, that's a good image.
thats pretty accurate, and i might add thats he's not trying to save the whole fkn world, just those he love, and that makes him so much more realistic and at the same time it makes it easier to feel the pain he have to go through. I think one one the most painfull event in s;g is when we can see his chuunibyou crumble and finally fall as he have to bear so much shit, but one of the most exiting event is when he finally become houhouin kyouma again.
I just thought about it, but okobe wanted to be an anime protag pursued by a mysterious organization, and he got what he wanted, a serious case of buyers remorse.
Part of the genius of the show. You could also argue that part of the reason he took on that persona was faint memories from his future self influencing him.
