Red Nichols was one of the busiest musicians in the 1920s, recording thousands of sides with dozens of bands. Fortunately, this means he left us with a wide array of solos, hot choruses, breaks and other musical moments to enjoy. This set of 50 hot choruses features some of Red’s finest moments in the first decade of his recording career. Notice the different influences throughout his career, starting with Louis Panico and moving towards Bix and Miff Mole.
