This is brilliant by Red Paddle. They have addressed all the issues causing problems when using the Titan 1…and having said that, it was still a great pump…Just more design genius from Red.

Только главный минус этого насоса, его вес, никуда не делся.

While this is a excellent dual chamber pump, I went with the GRI as it's build quality seemed better and at much less cost. I've been isup boarding for a few years and I have no idea why people talk about deflating. Holy cow, whether it's my 11' or 12' board, both deflate by themselves in 1-2 minutes. Roll from nose back to get all the air out. Easy pesy.

Thanks for watching Jim. GRI do make some nice pumps. We could not agree with you more on the deflation :)

I would like to see a tool-less design. Some companies have deep groove threads to just unscrew the top to service your pump. That way in the field if something were to go wrong, the trip is not interrupted. If I was out of town and my pump was having trouble, I would not want to have to find a screwdriver on a trip to take it apart to troubleshoot the problem. Instead of having to deal with little screw which you will always drop in the grass, have clasps to hold the top in place, and just unclasp the top or bottom to deal with any service issues. Peace, Mo

Hi Mo, thanks for watching. Your feedback interesting and while the Titan II is fully servicable, if we were that remote in the field, we'd anticipate at the very least having a small tool kit or mutli tool with us that would enable us to cover off much more than just pump maintenance. Happy paddling and wishing you well in your adventures.

Beg to differ on deflation. Paddle boards are easy to deflate without using a pump. Inflatable kayaks are another matter entirely so in addition to my red paddle I have second pump I use for deflating. I wont upgrade to the Titan II now that I know it can not deflate.

Thanks for watching. The Titan I does not deflate either. As a paddleboard focused brand, we cannot see Red Paddle Co adding a deflate feature to their pumps anytime soon.

Hi Gareth, thanks for watching and the comment. Currently all Titan II production is allocated to new 2021 boards. We expect the first time this new pump to come availabe as a stand alone item in October 2021. If you register your interest here, you will receive notification when they are available to order - www.thesupco.com/accessories-c4/red-paddle-co-titan-ii-pump-p2427

Does it fit irocker

Thanks for watching. The iRocker uses a similar valve so the Titan II will fit. :)

Does the Titan II deflate too?
@TheSUPCompany
@TheSUPCompany 3 года назад
Hi Amy, thanks for watching. No, the Titan II (and v.1) only inflates. Inflatables take seconds to deflate once they are opened.

Is it right that the Titan only inflates on the down stroke? Also why is this pump so heavy, twice the weight of say the Bravo pump? Not sure I see why the presenter is raving about this pump, unless it is paid for promotion.

Hi Pete, thanks for watching and the questions. Yes, this pump only inflates on the down stroke; this is delibrate by Red Paddle Co. The reason for this is that the amount of volume expelled is easier when engaging your body weight on the down stroke. But to expel this volume would be much, much harder on the up stroke as it would require a lot of upper body strength. In terms of weight, Bravo make many, many manual pumps. The Titan's have never struck us as being heavy when compared to other twin cylinder pumps. Yes, they are heavier than single cylinder dual action pumps but they are quite literally twice the pump. As for the paid promtion bit; afraid not... none of our content is paid for by any of the brands we offer (albeit you would be right to assume that many 'magazine' type channels are indeed paid / charge to produce content).
