I've just found your work on Tube and cannot believe that a 57 year old engineer is not only amazed at your talent but is seriously keen on trying this himself! Your step by step work is simple to understand and so helpful to all who watch your blank canvas turn into a fantastic piece of art, you should be very proud!!!! Both my wife and myself will soon try our first attempts with your guidance close to hand and look forward to seeing more of your work in the future. Your talent is beyond words......

Hi Feliks, Thank you for your wonderful easy to follow video. My 84 yo Mother has been asking me to paint her some poppies. Your video was excellent for someone who's not overly confident at painting. The way you give out the details of the colours, brushes and equipment required helped me to follow you. Even though I didn't have all the items required I improvised and loved the final outcome of my painting. Thank you and keep up the good work. God Bless Sue, Australia

I don’t know where you live, but after trying to follow your blending instructions through several videos, I finally get it. It’s not my fault. My acrylic paint, in spite of having a bit of medium and water mixed in, dries very quickly. I cannot blend dry paint. I need to do each poppy independently and completely to have any blending success. Is there anyone else having the same problem because of the low humidity where you live?
@marifloyd1543
@marifloyd1543 4 года назад
If you go to a beauty supply store, they have these water bottles that have a continuous spray now, the more you pump the trigger, the longer it will spray, but the spray is a very fine mist, almost like an atomizer so you could try that to keep your painting a bit more hydrated for blending purposes. I keep one next to me just in case in the summer and a quick mist doesn't hurt the painting at all and gives more open time to blend.
@kymzaja3754
@kymzaja3754 Год назад
Try spritzing the backside of your canvas before you paint! Also ,I use a wet paper towel under a piece of wax paper to put my paints on when I'm painting. It helps keep my paints from drying out and the damp canvas keeps my paint from drying too quickly on my canvas. I can't afford the expensive paints but I heard that the more quality paint is easier to blend and stays moist longer. That's what I've noticed anyway from most tutorials. My paint will dry quickly if I don't blend right away. Try misting your canvas on the backside before painting and use the wet paper towel under the wax paper and see if that helps. Enjoy painting!
@rossannamann791

If you would like to paint like this you can. People say you have to have talent. Not true! More importantly is desire. Clearly, you have the desire. Just get started and one day you will be painting like this. Also, important is to have fun and not worry if others will like it. Paint for yourself not them.
