Hello 👋 thank you very much! I usually don’t prime them because the canvases that I use are already primed. But it’s totally up to the artist if they want to add more layers

This is a lovely painting. The perspective is intriguing. The colors remind me of a sweatshirt I had in the 90s. Beautiful work Feliks! Nice instruction too. I'm always afraid to post my videos in real time because each painting takes around 3 - 4 hours to complete for me, so it's nice to see that yours took you a bit of time too. A lot of artists don't really layer much and throw down sloppy layers and move on, I appreciate the detail and intricacy of your work. Nice upload!

I did okay following until I got to the small trees and branches 😢 ruined the whole thing. I can’t do the thin detail. Thank you for sharing your talent, I’ll practice thin lines and line work in general, I’ll also try out your paints ☺️

What brand of blending brush are you using? I've not been able to find one that doesn't lose hair.

Hello Greg! Thank you for your question. Every type of blending brush I used in the past always lost hairs and sometimes a lot. The ones I’m using are my Colorbyfeliks M1, M2, M3 blending brushes which I designed specifically for blending with acrylics. They’re made out of goat hair and are very soft. They’ll loose some hair because they’re very thin but not as bad as the ones I’ve used in the past. They’ll also shed less with each use and sometimes stop completely! I finished my painting yesterday and I’m very pleased with it..I really need to learn how to barely touch the canvas with my brush..when I did the branches I really had to go slow because I kept making thicker lines due to my lack of technique. This was a great tutorial and like others have said you are such a great teacher and I appreciate your time! Have a wonderful day!

The hard part of this painting is that you might get tired of painting trees. That's when you take a break and come back to it. I love the perspective of looking up. I've never seen a painting like this before.

I notice that your brush is harder as I hear it scraping on the canvas..My brushes are too soft,,can you tell us the brushes you use please as I find it hard to do continuing twigs with my brushes..Is it the hog hair brushes ? you dont seem to answer the questions, so would it be wise to join the patreon group ? please answer the questions or tell us if we can only get answers if we JOIN the patreon group
