Red Power Roundup 2023 Day 3: Tractor Nerding and Meeting LOTS of Viewers 

I love this series, Pete. I'm 81 years old this year. I can go back to when I was 13 years old. A kid from a broken family with a wonderful mother trying her best to provide for her two boys. I was in the seventh grade and a member of the future farmers of America (FFA) One summer I was shipped off to a farm in Vermont to work for the summer. Just a kid I was a bit scared but the farmer and his wife were wonderful people and made me feel at home. The thing I remember the most is the day the farmer got me up on the seat of his precious tractor, I wish I could remember what model it was, but I know it was a Farmall, and let me drive it. I loved it, even though all I did was spread cow manure it was one of the best times in my life.

So many people think so highly of you Pete! You've touched alot of our lives! Salute to you sir!

I hope this message is high enough up that you will read it. :) That was so sweet when you gave that little boy a hug!! I remember when our daughter was young and got a hug from one of her "stars".....it meant the WORLD to her. Also, I'm hoping meeting the viewers during this trip will boost up your spirits and help you continue (and more importantly....ENJOY) filming your videos. Maybe this will show you just a pinch of what your audience is really like and the "evil" viewers are sooooooooo tiny!!! Thanks for taking us along Pete.

I’m not a farmer and have nothing to do with farming, but I stumbled across your channel a few months ago and I’ve binged watched just about every video. Just by watching the three videos of this event. It’s easy to tell how much you enjoyed it and thank you for everything you do!

That number 10 manure spreader is absolutely amazing. I bet someone put the same amount of hours in that manure spreader that it would take to restore a farmall lowboy. Wow whoever restored that did a wonderful job.

Man that stuff is so cool. The rifle you saw in that truck the other day was an M1 Garand International Harvester made them in the mid 50s during the Korean War for the U.S. Military. Super cool meet up.

Hi Pete, thank you showin' us all the cool red power from the show but also the classics you use every day on the farm. IH made a couple different two cylinder models in Germany from the 1950s to 1960s that plant got closed down sometime in the 1990's it was in Neuss Germany some of the British build IH tractors had the Neuss german diesel engines in em. Friends of mine had a IH tractor that was made in Germany it was a late 1960s or early 70s model. They where our neighbors back when we still farmed in Switzerland. Keep ya'r awesome videos coming

International made a huge variety of quality items that built America and feed the world. The corporation sufferd from lower margins and when the economy got tough it became insurmountable. Wish it would have been able to pull through.

For Pete's sake I hope his tractors at home aren't the jealous type! 😅 It's great seeing Pete getting to spend time around so many people who share his appreciation & passion for the same things. We've got an awesome community & family here on Pete's channel. It's a really refreshing thing to see. You definitely don't get that on every channel!

Tbh never been a fan of tractors.. never thought there are fan of tractors.. after watching all 3 videos im still not a fan of tractors but at least it was pretty interesting to see and learn a bit about it. I was more interested to see how most were restored and how much care ppl put in them.. like a big car meet car show but for tractor lovers. Thank you for showing

Where I am from ( Québec ) in my town we have a man who all his life was a International love, up until last year he had over 125 tractors restore like the one you just show us, he was telling me that it was about 600$ for a gallon of red International paint, must be 1000$ by now ;) ;) if you want I can send you some image of his collection, and guess what, he had tonne of International toys tractors, a full room just of them. Every time I see him, he still talk about them with full passion. I will tell him about your last video, I'm sure he will appreciate it. Thank you

I love to see the old tractors on display it I think I like seeing them still doing the work they were built for even more.

Thank you, Pete for showing all of us this spectacular event. It brought back a lot of great memories of old Farmalls. I started out on one of those Farmall pedal tractors and then graduated to my grandfather's H and then to my uncle's brand new 806 with dual rear wheels for mowing sod grass. At his memorial service all of the farmers there remembered him buying it brand new and they all said it was the biggest tractor in the entire county when he got it!

So much enjoy the happiness you are radiating Pete. Glad you got to go to this event and meet so many of your fans and supporters. Thank you for explaining things so patiently to us. Time to get back to “Come on cows!” I’m sure they missed you.
