Red Reacts To BAND-MAID & THE WARNING | Show Them 

The Warning went to Japan in June for 3 shows, 1 with BM. Went over a couple weeks early and finished the song. They did play it live with all 8 on stage, but only a 30 sec or so teaser clip of that was officially released. Great job by Kanami ,composing the song and challenging everyone. She wrote it in a key higher than Saiki and Dany usually sing. They posted a bunch of shorts leading up to this, Ale vs Misa, Akane vs Pau , etc, and a solo short for Miku. Check out the interview Dany and Kanami did on PRS Guitars Japan, one of the things mentioned was that they should do a return engagement in Mexico, with Dany making a challenge to do a song in Spanish.

Your reaction was completely justified! I was at the show in Tokyo when the drbuted this song. You should have seen the love and respect they shiwed each other. I cried seeing my two favorite all girl rock bands playing together with such support for each other. Its my understanding they worked up three songs together, and this is just one of them. If you've not seen either band live, you need to fix that. I've seen BM 3 times and TW once, but... i am seeing the Warnjng 5 more times in 4 different countries over the next few months.

This video screams "Girl Power!". Band-Maid and The Warning are the new "Power Couple" in rock. Collabs are hard as hell to pull off effectively, especially two bands with different rock styles, but they did it (and well). With collabs there are compromises that tone down the brilliance of each band so that they work smoothly together. Kudos to the bands and the production crew for pulling this video off. Wow, I can't wait for another collaborative effort between both bands. Dani hinted that there may be another one in the future between them.

Hey, it’s a pretty explosive collaboration. Truthfully I’ve not listened to BM extensively so I’m not as familiar with the individual members, but the collaboration seems really dynamic. The lead vocals meshing as well as they do caught me by surprise, and I’d really like to see more of the interplay between the instruments. It looks real natural, like the chemistry was perfect, and by all accounts a great time was had by all. I’m expecting this will not be the last time they get together. If you’re wondering why you don’t have more comments, don’t take it personally. There have been closing in on 200 reactions to this song and I’m guessing TWA is mostly burnt out trying to respond to everyone. Take care and thanks

Yep, you don't see such a well-balanced collaboration between two full bands from the same genre, but ultimately completely different, every day. Even if the numbers don't necessarily reflect it, two heavyweights of today's generation. And it's not about anyone proving they're better than the other, it's about having fun together, and I think they did. The instrumental section of this song is so interesting. There is no battle, instead each member provided their own unique portion of the melody. And behind each portion of the melody the backup changed. Pau hit behind Ale then as MISA chimed in Akane backed her. When Dany ran the guitar lick Pau and Ale were there too. You can hear MISA and Akane behind Kanami as Miku keeps it all stable. Quite remarkable.

Kanami wrote the song and She made both, Saiki and Dany, sing it in different octave than they usually sing.
