HomeDepot is the worst with the returns. They love to stick boxes of blinds back on the shelf without the hardware. We stopped having them pull our orders because they were always wrong. Which surround are you using? If we have to do an entire surround, we now put-up FRP from the ceiling to the tub/shower. Stuff is indestructible. We also add a mold inhibiter to our bathroom paint. One less issue to deal with.
If you have a short video on your tips for custom doors, I would like to see it. Door sizing has been a challenge for me on my cabin reno because it was built in 1900.
Im sorry, I do not have a video on doors. It's taken me a long time to learn how to make them. Will add it to my list for future videos. Are you just replacing door slabs? Thanks for watching.
been watching your channel for awhile and love it! i was in a bind with a new truck and ended up getting the ford transit 250 i almost got the pro master. i have my own utube channel its small its the handyman experience. I ended up installing a inverter on my truck since im always on the go for maintenance and makes charging batteries easy.
Im checking out your channel now. Impressive how many views on every video. Planning to watch. I like to watch others work when I’m not working. I looked really hard at getting the transit 250 had a chance to buy one and really wish I had. I have an inverter set up between the seats saved the day multiple times. Only use the bag setup when I’m doing turns.
Man, I wish you would stop using carpet. You only get a good year or 2 out of it. Love the hardwoods. I recommend month-to-month leases. That's all I use anymore. If I get a tenant that isn't keeping a property up to the standards or is just a pain to deal with. Send them the 30-day vacant letter and move on to the next one.
@@handylandlord I'll never go back to 12-month leases. I've been burned too many times with people who seem like they'd be great tenants. And then I'm counting down the months until their lease is up. I explain to them that if they keep the house nice, and don't cause any problems with my neighbors they can stay as long as they want. But if there is any sort of issue, we will be sending a 30-day notice. Another trick, I always tell tenants I'm "just the property manager" and all the decisions that are made are above my paygrade ;)
