I am late to this game, but this will help me get going on it today. The audiobooks are really well done and I am enjoying them, too. Thanks for the playthrough.
Somewhat ‘late to the party’ here with commenting from when you had originally published this video a few months ago, I know…not without its flaws, this is a Stonemaier Game that we do still like to play alot in our family! We currently own the retail version/edition, but I’m definitely looking to upgrade to the Collector’s version/edition components. …I’m a big fan of the books and super impressed by this game’s quality of card graphics/artwork (and, a lot/100+ of them, too)! In my opinion, the accuracy of the character depictions in the card graphics/artwork are on point and top notch; alot of attention to detail, for sure, and stayed true, I think, to the books (Fitchner’s bubble gum, etc). Thanks for the great video on this game! - Howie
Great video! I played a bit of Red Rising solo mode since my copy arrived last week :) pretty excited about that. If you don't mind a bit of Automa rule correction: In the rule stated: "4. If she in any way would gain a bonus of which she already has 10 (10 Helium, position 10 on the Fleet track, or 10 Influence) she instead gains the bonus of another location (this does not change which card she gains). a. Use the tiebreaker arrow as in step 3 until she reaches a location with a bonus of which she does not already have 10. b. In case she gains the bonus via the Luna bonus card, she will still gain the Sovereign token in addition to the substitute bonus." 44:47 So the Automa would gain a Helium, since the arrow on the card point to the Right (right from Jupiter -> Mars). Unfortunately, this might ended your game earlier (I can't see exactly how many Helium that the Automa had), but on 45:46 the Automa card would take a card from Jupiter and proc. bonus - then substitute bonus would follow the arrow to the Left, which is Institute - and that would be the end of the game. But I think you still got more Helium since playing the Investor would be your last turn (cause Apollo) and still won :) Hope that make sense. Thanks! :D
