Red River Gorge Kentucky - Grays Arch to Hansons Point New Year's Eve Day Hike. 

The hiking trails are quite friendly..... the big rocks are amazing....

Thank you so much for making this video. I’m sure when you make these videos you’re never sure who’s going to view them. I’ll be running the Red River Gorge ultramarathon in about four weeks. Being able to see these trails in the winter time after the trees are defoliated and to check out the leaf coverage on the trails, was hugely beneficial. It gives me a much better idea of what to expect from my footing, and what kind of shoes to bring. Every other video I’ve watched has basically been a hike in the summertime. This was just what I needed!

Hi Krista, just watched your hike. Thank you for posting it. Just a few weeks ago I ventured out on the Rough Trail and made a loop to Grays Arch and back to the parking lot. Unfortunately, I didn't have more time to go to Hanson's point but it's nice to see how you combined it and I will definitely keep this in mind for a future hike! Thanks for posting. At 20:07 , that is Cloudspliter on the left and Chimney Rock on rt .

Can you get down to Grays Arch not. I was there in May and there was a landslide it was closed off.
