I used to work at Red Robin. It was by far the cleanest and best run kitchen I’ve ever worked in. All the ingredients were also fresh and high quality. It may be a little pricy, but it’s worth it compared to what you’re getting at other places.
@@LilnormieXRed Robin has streak fries as well as a sweet potato option. The one con is almost every time I get bottomless, they take a long time to bring them out, as if to deter the person from getting more than a second batch.
Part of what you're paying for with these restaurants is the dine in experience. They're great if you want to eat out with some people and enjoy the environment. Also, the staff serves you the food on proper plates and will clear it for you. At the take out places like In and Out and Five Guys you are purely paying for the food. Even when you eat in, you have to pick up your food and clear your table when done.
I really love and respect all the comments from current and former employees. Pretty much confirms what I've always felt about RR is that they are a solid place to work and to eat. I work at a fast casual place, but if a RR were closer, I'd try to work there. I've never had something at RR that I didn't like. My friend who is gluten intolerant said they used to have the best gluten free buns, but she thinks they changed vendors because they are good, but not great. Dine in IS the best option for RR though, 100%.
I had RR for the first time a few weeks ago, really was not expecting much since it’s a chain burger joint, but it was waaaaayy better than expected! I don’t like beef so I got a chicken sandwich and it was really good.
Red Robin is a great "once in a while" burger joint, due solely to the prices. I've never eaten a bad meal from Red Robin, and I'm kinda addicted to the freckled lemonade.
I currently work at Red Robin. For a cheap man like me, Red Robin will never be justified compared to In-N-Out, but if you are willing to spend money for quality, you will receive it as others have mentioned. 1. The price comes from the restaurant experience including free refills, event freebies, service, and non-burger products (shakes, limited items, sauces). 2. Not just bottomless fries, it's bottomless fills from sides to drinks. Some literally dine in to get bottomless items without a burger... 3. I can't explain, but RR burgers get significantly worse after sitting for even just a few minutes. 4. I genuinely dislike shakes, but RR and Burger King shakes are the only shakes I will ever drink.
Remember the Carl's jr "6 dollar burger" lol it was like 3.50 and it was supposed to mimic a fancy restaurant burger because they would typically cost around 6 dollars. Haha man inflation sucks.
Red robin is underrated. If I want a dine in burger experience for a good value id go to red robin. Pretty justified, especially with their seasoning on the table you can put on the fries.
I worked there over the summer and the infinite fries we gave are beyond justified. You can literally order fries until your hearts content and as an employee I could do the same
My fiance and I would always go to our local Red Robin because of how good the food was. It was our own little spot as it was never busy and we’d always have date nights there. Unfortunately, it closed down as of 3 months ago.
Red Robin is def a place me and the family go to for a dine-in experience. Getting some alcoholic drinks on a night out with bottomless fries and great food made to order, the value is great imo
Just please go get one in house man, you’re not getting the proper experience with a to go burger. Bacon is probably not super crispy cause it’s been sitting out for a while, the burgers been sitting in the juices so yeah it pretty greasy. Also do yourself a favor and try one of their Oreo shakes with it
It might be the location you ordered at? I know our local red Robin is absolutely amazing. And the burgers are not greasy. I feel like they’re less greasy than any burger I order locally.
I haven’t had Red Robin in about 4 years, last time I had it the haystack burger was $8.99 and if you did a to go order they’d give you a large fry for the drive home. Well worth it! I just looked and it’s $10.99 now, still a decent deal!
Yesss I miss the fries for the road they used to give them to us delivery drivers too which I always thought was so generous cuz they didn’t have to do that. But I don’t think they do them anymore sadly
Fast food places add chemicals to their burgers to make it less greasy so that resturants can decrease prep and cooking time. So a greasy burger means that it's truly all natural and that's why places like redrobin, 5 guys are more expensive and greasy
Red robin’s always good, unfortunate that you got such a plain burger though as they have way better specialty ones on the menu. Also where are the steak fries with red robin’s seasoning at? The standard fry and burger meal is absolutely worth 15$, go to any other restaurant and you’re either paying the same or more.
You can always tell the type of person someone is when they tell you about the amount of food they give you makes the food good vs the food itself. When I hear " they give you so much food" I know
We had a Red Robin we frequented pre-pandemic. Bottomless fries and even on takeout they’d throw in a free cup of fries for the drive home. They were top notch on customer service. Obviously it depends on each specific franchise but there was no comparison.
The fact they used to offer a birthday burger TO-GO, and they "took it away from us" and are forcing you to dine in for it is a resounding HELL NO! for me
Getting one of their specialty burgers and unlimited root beer foats always hits after a long work week! My girlfriend and i go there and split the shake and we put down around 4 refills
Red Robin is hands down the best burger chain because it's always consistently good. Also it being more expensive than five guys but you are being served at red robin.
I wish there was (and maybe there is) a different bun option that wouldn't get so soggy. At P.Terry's in Austin the Whole Wheat bun (which I usually wouldn't choose) can survive the whole burger.
Solid point about the price (but what eatery isn't charging double from just a few years ago?), but one thing that takes Red Robin a step above Five Guys is the selection of different burgers. With Five Guys you get that assortment of veggies & condiments which means that you're just customizing the same burger, but RR offers about 20 different burgers between their Tavern & Gourmet burger menus. Plus they offer a lot of wraps, sandwiches, salads, and vegetarian options. And those Onion Rings are outstanding! Compared to Five Guys, it's RR for the Win!
im a millenial from when Red Robin was affordable and had freshly fried steak fries thats unlimited. if you remember the red baskets with the parchment paper- then you know. now they put it in some silver mold ring and the fries have gotten over 50% smaller and it feels like frozen crap. Their burger size also did shrink considerably :( anyone else miss the 5 dollar footlong lol this was the same era where highschool kids could go and spend 13~15 bucks and eat well. now? just sign up and list your birthday so you get a free meal once a year. enough said
Who is your favorite all time player that you feel isn’t talked about enough? And who is the current player that you think is the most similar to them?
One time I went to Red Robin when Covid was on the news. I was the only one there eating before they closed. Fun fact, I also worked at that same location about 5 years before. 😂 the waitress was very nice
