I wouldn't completely call it a contesting objective, but in the void, you can contest the haunts, by chasing or standing near the ones the survivors are placing their void energy into. The winner of it has their haunt able to scare the other on the map, and get points for it, also when the timer boots you out, I think it boots everyone out to the same location, it's a bit annoying because the killer will be 5 ft from the survivor, even if they weren't before

Here is my favorite build as of late. Killer: Pig. Add ons, Crate of Gears (or bag on a budget) and Slow Release Toxin. Perks: Spirit Fury, Enduring, Hubris, and Jolt. It's a bit of a gimmick build made to punish people who depend of exhaustion perks and underestimate Pig's ability to loop (since most people think M1 killers are weak). Basically try to respect your first two pallets to make them think you are a typical Pig, and then go all in on the third one, or save it for another surv if you down or leave the first surv. Once you get your first surprise down, things tend to fall into place after. Also it lets you have the choice of focusing down a surv with a head trap if you need to, as they often can't make distance to escape you without their MFTs, Sprint Bursts, and Dead Hards, or leaving them to waste time on boxes at 16 seconds a pop. It might not sound amazing, but survs frequently let it steam roll them.

Wesker -Furtive Chase -Deadlock -BBQ -Bamboozle Centred around getting the most value off Furtive Chase. After hooking the obsession, there is no time to kick gens with Pop or Oppression (as this would waste your haste), so Deadlock acts as your gen defense and pseudo info perk. BBQ is so you can beeline across the map directly to the next survivor, fully utilising that 5% haste and undetectable. Bamboozle on Wesker is self-explanatory. I've used for 10+ games and the synergy is fantastic. I did try this with Grim Embrace, and while it has got perfect synergy, it's too shit of a perk to make any real difference to a match. Edit: Game Afoot could work well too

Ring Around the Obsession Myers- Furtive Case Nemesis BBQ chili Game Afoot Addons are your choice, i enjoy tuft of hair with the memorial Build is based on targeting the obession for hooks while slugging others for pressure. Using the oblivious/undetectable status to jump scare and sneak up on people with some nice haste

Nice! I'd love to see Nemesis, Brutal Strength, and Game Afoot. I think you'd catch up super fast. I'm actually not sure which gains you more distance, enduring or brutal..

Nah dude. Video tape add on with the hair brush so you know when a tape gets taken and makes the survivors go to the3 furthest tv to deposit the tape. Sloppy butcher and corrupt intervention for perks. Then spam teleport and hit anyone who grabs tapes. Get 4 moris at 5 gens all the time.

Sadako can’t be stunned while demanifested and it makes looping her harder since her movements are like spirits where they cut out

While i kinda doubt it's happening, a new game mode for dbd would be very refreshing and would probably help a lot. Even just a ranked/casual split would help a good amount.
