What lighting schedule im using on my AL PRIME HD. download schedule on red sea max nano owners on Facebook under files. My sons channel - • Best Wave Pump to buy,... Music: Zhong Wen Smoke URL: icons8.com/music/
Loved this series and looking to get my first marine tank next year. This seems to be the tank i want to get so wanted to ask if you thought it would be a solid beginner set up?
Thanks for the info on the settings. I’ve had my ai prime for about 4 months and so far I hate it. Too many settings to adjust, can’t get the colour right, corals not growing. I know you can use other people’s settings but I can’t work out how to get them onto the light. I’m thinking of going back to kessils.
To get the other people’s setting you would go to their link or straight from Aqua Illuminations website and go to signature series. Pick someone’s schedule then download. Afterwards go to the App on the phone and go to the light you want that schedule to go to. Afterwards click on “Control” and below your current schedule there should be a star and once you click on the star click on “select preset” and the schedule should be there ready to import.
Ive got 4 prime 16hd's on a dd reef pro 1200, i run them with the blues in the 90s as there are 4 , would you think that this is ok or would you recommend changing it?
How did you hook up that light with the red sea bracket? I bought the one needed for the prime to be used on red sea nano but no instructions at all lol like rocket science
Does it really produce color spots on the bottom of the tank? I thought spots are possible with LED, but the color must be mixed and the same for each spot...
It's the famous AI Prime discoball effect, caused by the individual leds too far apart from eachother. They improved it in the latest 16HD but it's still noticable. Lights who have closer arranged COB leds don't have this issue.
Hi the Nano now come with the new light Redsea Reefled 50, What do you think it is worst or better than the Ai? Thank you for your time with all videos.
My son has just got 2 of the new red sea reef LEDs and im very impressed! So much so that im probably going for them on my new build, they are so much better than the AI prime
Hi I’m a complete novice to coral and lighting, does the light need to be on all day or is that a preference of yours or is it for good growth etc? If you was to do a short schedule how long would this be?
I'm not an expert but I'm in the hobby 3 years. You gotta set a steady schedule of lighting for your corals otherwise your corals will die. Amount of light depends of the variety of corals you have. Positively, you have to study a lot about it. Start with corals for beginners, those are usually though and neglect proof.
You said long time ago you will change it for kessil ? What keeps you from doing that ?. On new tank you will stay same or kessil or maybe new red see led90 ?
@@svenderkryptoman8154 looks like you know what schedule you want to use then, don't quite know why you asked for my schedule in the first place then!??
What the hell are you saying man and why knock the al prime 16 there better then The Kessil lighting if your gonna complaint about some go back to what you was using before it’s how I see it. It’s seems all vids you can’t make up your mind on what you want in this reefing business
