Dosing is so straightforward nowadays, The App’s make’s using these systems so much easier than the years gone by, I personally have the DD Pro4 but they all follow the same format. Great vid once again keep them coming.
At (about) 8:00 you show the content of the RS Doser Accessory Kit - including the Red Nipples. Later on at (about) 9:00 you didn't use them and at the end (not shown) you would still have had parts left to install (that's a clue) e.g. the Red Nipples? The Coral Food, is good but needs to be stored in a fridge, so installing a 4th Channel would require some additional consideration e.g. decanting from a bigger bottle (kept in the fridge). The App has some useful features for deciding what happens after certain events e.g. missed dose. Also for staggering the doses e.g. at 10, 20, 30 past the hour over 24 hours, or all at once, etc. The calibration step really needs to be done accurately as the Manual suggests because dosing is always going to depend upon how well this was done - otherwise you can just guess 4.3ml and be done. Some other key points not mentioned: using a second doser e.g. for Trace Elements and removing the heads e.g. to reorder the order without needing to drain, flush and calibrate again and the clips - keep the output behind the input tubes and don't tighten the tops - air in allows product to come out... the best feature (for me) is that the speed of delivery (vs noise) can be selected and RS list their own (and other Manufacturer's) Products in the lists for easy Set Up - they might even have optimised the settings for each one? Overall it is (like most of the other RS Products) well thought through and nice to use kit.
Top video guys. Looking forward to seeing you setup a fuge. Currently having issues with other algaes besides chaeto in mine. Also interested to see what you guys do about the light spill
@@GalleryAquaticaTV could be better if your media team didn't forget about me 🤭 . Actually wanted to have a chat with you about a product I'm manufacturing so let's get in touch
Good question. I look forward to seeing exactly how they work and how easily they’re installed. So far what I’ve seen is good and I’d love to try one. Cam
Happy new year Cam and Ania! Just to mention briefly for others that the instructions tell you to secure the tubing to the dosing head a little differently - see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cx6Nl8SKlxI.html. You probably also discovered that the sump dosing tube holder comes with red nipples that you connect the tubing to.
I usually like to avoid instructions the first time I play with a new piece of gear, but maybe I should have had a look at this first😂 Thanks for the link. Cam
We use Radions on more new tank builds than anything else, however the Red Seas are great. The coral growth in Anias Stash Tank is really good and the colour they put out is nice. I usually make the choice based on what other equipment I’m using, as I like to run different components from the same brand on tanks. Anias Stash has Red Sea lights, doser and wavemaker so it all works together brilliantly. Cam
