That was nice Andy, red snapper popular here,we get a yellow snapper too, bass is such a general name,so I don’t know if it’s the same or different to the ones caught here,it did look a bit like what we call black bass, very popular here is Chilean sea bass,a very big fish, comes in frozen as it’s caught down in Antarctica off the coast of Chili, and frozen on the factory ships.Did I tell you I worked in a seafood restaurant for 21 years in NY? My back was to the fish butcher all those years,I have seen every edible fish butchered, watch them drag the tuna in,and it often took two men to get it on the table, then he would clean tiny sardines.Antonio hated cleaning eel,but other than that he didn’t complain.😊
Mate you did that food amazing justice the way you cooked it 👍🏻👍🏻. Few years ago my boy caught a red snapper when we were in New Zealand on the beach. Cooked it straight away on the BBQ unbelievable taste. Never tried sea bass. Have a great weekend Andy 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks red snapper is really nice, sea bass is a really nice fish, lovely texture and taste amazing, if you have it pop it in the oven salt pepper lemon juice and a drop of butter 👍
5:16 Red snapper - happily swimming in the gulf of Mexico . 48 hours later - on some fat bloke’s kitchen surface 1000s of miles away being stuffed full of lemon 😅.
Awesome sea food dish Andy. I was hoping to catch some Bass down West Wales this week for the BBQ, didn’t happen. Only caught 6 pollock, best one being 5lb. They all went back alive. Never mind.
First of all congratulations on 6k followers I still stick to my prediction of 10k by Christmas. What ever you do for a day job your talents are wasted outstanding Andy keep mixing it up something for everyone 👍👍👍
The grub looks amazing as usual mate, Seabass is my favourite fish, Good to see you and your Mrs enjoying good food, Congrats to making it to 6k subs too, all the best!
Hello Andy must say looked lovely might be expensive but you deserve it 🤗 Congratulations on 6k subscribers and I wish you many many more to come your way🍀
@fatandy - Somehow I missed this upload but got to see you happily downloading food as usual, in fact this time you look quite full up afterwards? Did you de-vein the prawns? Herbs and spices come out fast in large amounts from those jars, if I have not dispensed some into a small container prior to cooking I just sprinkle some into one hand, use the other hand to pinch it over the food and then put the remaining back into the jar. Sea Bass is one of my favourite fish, The herb Tarragon goes well with it as does bay Leaves, Sea Salt, Cracked Black Pepper, White Wine, Diced Garlic, Shallots, Jalapenos, Olives, Cherry Tomatoes, Yellow or Red Peppers, Sliced Potatoes, especially if cooking in Parchment (Sea Bass en Papillote). What you did on the BBQ looked really nice though, I don't know how you got through all that lol.
@@fatandy i love! my seafood my misses wasn't to confident going in there as she didn't know what to get when i couldn't get there but they cant do enough to help yeah there bass is lovely my personal fav is there 1kg bag of frozen cockles
that gourmet fish right there. I don't mind the Marie Rose sauce on a nice prawny bagette. I liked the shrimp things, have them on holidays - best part of the meal is peeling them and also sucking the brain juice. finger lickin good. nice to bring abit of that vibe to your own garden. Good treat for sure.
That’s a hard one so many fantastic dishes, love authentic Turkish & Greek food, but then there’s so many dishes that are outstanding, I found Penang in Malaysia had so many fantastic dishes because of it multi culture especially the street food out of this world, same with a lot of Far Eastern countries I found the food amazing had some fantastic food in Singapore also Thailand, I wasn’t too keen on authentic Chinese food oddly enough, it’s not like the Chinese takeaway in England 😂 some dishes were ok, I have eaten some weird and wonderful stuff in my time Japan was good but not my favourite but still again did have some nice food, Australia was good tried a fair few dishes, I don’t know what my favourite was, as for how many different countries have I visited probably 20-25 in my time been back to some of them more than once, but then when you look at it in reality in my opinion you can’t beat proper English food 😂👍
